The fall season and Halloween time bring an exciting mix of fun to Disney Parks both in Florida and California. From fun fall merchandise to beautiful themed decor, Halloween at Disney is a must-do for any Disney fan.

Last week, Disney Parks fans experienced frustration when tickets for the Oogie Boogie Bash were suddenly halted due to technical problems.

While the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World hosts Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party, the premier event at the Disneyland Resort is the Oogie Boogie Bash at the Disney California Adventure Park. The after-hours event features a unique opportunity to interact with characters and Disney villains not commonly seen in the theme Park Resort. Guests also get to experience short wait times for rides, shows, and unique Halloween-themed entertainment.

The event also has a limited capacity admission which means it’s sometimes difficult to secure a ticket – but a very nice crowd-free experience if you can get it.

Earlier this week, tickets for the special event went on sale, with Disney Park fans reportedly waiting online for hours in hopes of a chance to snag their Oogie Boogie Bash tickets. However, when Disneyland Park fans attempted to book, they were met with the message:

“We are aware of a technical issue with Oogie Boogie Bash ticket sales, which have been temporarily paused. Teams are working to find a resolution as quickly as possible. We will update the website when we know more. Please be advised that call center wait times are heavily impacted currently.”

However, it has recently been announced that the Disneyland website will resume ticket sales next week. According to Scott Gustin on Twitter, Disneyland Resort will resume Oogie Boogie Bash ticket sales on July 11 by 9 am Pacific Standard Time.

The Oogie Boogie Bash runs from early September thru Halloween night at the California Adventure Park, with tickets ranging from $134 to $189.
