Are you craving authentic oven-fired pizza? Great news, Walt Disney World Resort has a delicious option to enjoy in EPCOT! Via Napoli Ristorante e Pizzeria is located at the back of the Italy pavilion in World Showcase. This table service dining spot is excellent for Guests looking to break from the Park day and enjoy a dining experience, especially those craving an authentic Naples-inspired pizza meal.

You do need to book an advance dining reservation for this restaurant. Play around World Showcase until your reservation time arrives. You can secure a lunch or dinner reservation at this spot. I prefer visiting table service restaurants for dinner to unwind after a long Park day. Plus, Walt Disney World dining is a Disney experience highlight for me, so why not save the best for last and secure a reservation for dinner that you can look forward to all day?

The location of Via Napoli works perfectly to your advantage after dinner. Dashing from the reservation to the rim of World Showcase Lagoon to watch Harmonious is a breeze. If you would rather not watch the show, you are nearby some great rides in Mexico and Norway.

Sometimes underrated details can go a long way to make a dining experience more pleasurable. This restaurant is located at the back of the Italian pavilion, so there is plenty of waiting room for your party to spread out, outside the restaurant. No need to be crunched as you await your table.

A reasonably large area is shaded from the Florida sun, and nearby shops are available for a portion of your party to browse while you wait. There is also an atrium around the hostess stand at Via Napoli for indoor waiting. Unlike some more crowded EPCOT pavilions, I can unwind and relax while waiting outside the restaurant.

Upon entering Via Napoli, you are greeted with gorgeous paintings, high ceilings, overwhelmingly delicious fragrances, and the feeling that you are about to have an authentic Italian dining experience. Cast Members point out the show’s real stars, the ornately carved wood fire pizza ovens named Stromboli, Vesuvio, and Etna.

You’ll notice Guests scattered at tables inside a large open indoor dining room or outside on the shaded patio. A gorgeous dining counter lines one side of the dining room, directly in front of the pizza ovens providing a lovely view of the open kitchen so Guests can enjoy watching chefs toss pizza dough and assemble delicious dishes. The dining room gets a bit loud due to the activity level of the space. The buzz added to my excitement and reminded me of dining at a pizzeria in Rome, Italy.

This Patina Restaurant Group-owned spot served up many of the drinks EPCOT Guests enjoy from drink carts in the Italian pavilion. This means that you can order a beverage with your meal if you didn’t have a chance to snag a sangria, glass of wine, specialty mimosa, or beer flight before checking in at your dining reservation.

Even better, you can purchase some drinks by the pitcher to serve the entire dining party and get a better bang for your buck. If you buy by the pitcher, I recommend the Prosecco Terre Di Bacco Sangria. If you are looking for an individual cocktail, you can never miss ordering the Strawberry Limoncello or Sicilian Sunset.

Unsurprisingly, Via Napoli’s claim to fame is its pizza. Designed to mirror the delicious pizzerias of Naples, Italy, the original home to pizza, Via Napoli does not disappoint in the pizza arena. Many Disney insiders say there is no better pizza on the Disney property than the doughy and cheesy pies served at Via Napoli. Available in an impressive number of sizes and flavors, your only pizza problem at Via Napoli will be deciding which one to choose.

Via Napoli is an excellent option for families because of the shareable nature of the food. Pizza comes in large portions. Pricing varies by pizza, but on average, four Guests can share a large pizza for around $50 or less and have plenty to eat. Pairing a steaming pizza with a shareable family-style salad and fun cocktail makes for a great start to your Via Napoli visit. If you cannot bring yourself to hand over half of your pizza portion, smaller sizes to serve individuals are available as well. That said, sharing a larger pizza works out to a lower cost per person.

If you are more of a pasta lover than a pizza fan, you will be equally excited about the menu offerings. Via Napoli has some flavorful and unique pasta dishes available. Take a break from the usual fettuccini alfredo that you enjoy at Italian restaurants in the real world and enjoy more authentic dishes.

While familiar pasta dishes are on the menu, you may order a new dish like the Tortellini stuffed with cheese. This dish is served with sautéed pancetta and sweet peas and tossed in a Parmesan cream sauce.

Chicken Parmesan lovers should try Via Napoli’s version of the dish, crafted with house-made tomato sauce & fresh mozzarella cheese, served with spaghetti tomatoes. Our Cast Member server was glad to answer questions, suggest dishes based on our preferences, and honestly relay serving sizes so we did not order more food than we could eat.

Italian desserts are phenomenal, so don’t skip the final course. At our server’s advice, I saved room for dessert; thank goodness I did! Via Napoli offers an array of classic Italian desserts; I chose a rich and creamy towering tiramisu dusted with espresso. The tiramisu was the perfect size for a couple to share.

The Fresh Berry Cheese Cake with cream cheese & ricotta cheesecake with a blackberry compote is on my dessert bucket list for my next visit to this restaurant.

Via Napoli is a fun restaurant for families, pizza lovers, and Guests looking to try an authentic Italian Disney dining experience. I hope this guide to dining at Via Napoli Ristorante e Pizzeria in EPCOT Park was helpful!

About Katie Chapman

Hey There! I am a Georgia native with a passion for writing, traveling, cooking, decorating, pugs and of course all things Disney. Growing up in South Georgia just a few hours from Walt Disney World made for a magical childhood. Some of my best memories were made on Main Street U.S.A. with my sister watching SpectroMagic nighttime parade or beside my grandparents, parents and extended family at Chef Mickey’s celebrating on a family vacation. Epcot was my favorite park from a young age and I credit it with my interest in and love for international travel. As a kid I loved meeting characters and watching films around World Showcase and could spend hours exploring each of the countries in Epcot. These days, my husband and I get away to explore a new country whenever we can and even incorporate trips to The Disney Store and Disney Parks around the world in our travels. One of our travel goals is to visit every Disney Park in the world. I love writing about Disney restaurants, park tips, Disney outfit inspiration and Disney history. Pocahontas is my favorite Disney Princess (90s kid here!) but Mr. Toad is my spirit animal. When I’m not at Disney I’m reading about park history, watching Disney documentaries and shopping vintage Disney merch for park outfits. I never pass up a reservation to Ohana, an empty seat on Living with the Land or a Violet Sake.
