Who’s ready to set sail on the big blue? The Disney Cruise Line fleet has once again taken to the ocean and its private Castaway Cay island with the Disney Magic, Disney Dream, Disney Fantasy, Disney Wonder, and the newest Disney Wish, welcoming Guests onboard.
Even though we’ve seen the removal of COVID warning signs from the Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort, COVID-19 precautions are still very much in place with the Disney Cruise Line.
Following along with health and safety guidelines, however, we have a step in the right direction back to “normalcy” which is bringing back those wonderful pre-COVID memories. The Disney Cruise Line has now announced it will return its traditional character meet and greets!
@ScottGustin shared the news, “Disney Cruise Line announces return of traditional character greetings, up-close character greetings, and autographs by Aug. 29.”
Hugs returned to each Disney Park on April 18, 2022, as fans wrapped their arms around Mickey Mouse and Disney character friends and were able to ask for autographs once again. The same will now be in place for the Disney Cruise Line beginning August 29, 2022.
While this may seem like a small step for many, we’ve also seen the Disney Cruise Line make changes to vaccinations and testing policies in recent weeks.
