The Disney Dining & Drinks Spot With the Most Beautiful View

Evenings in Walt Disney World can be spent in so many different ways. Do you prefer to dine in a favorite restaurant or end the day in a Disney theme park? Does every Disney evening ended with fireworks, or do you enjoy some evenings where you prioritize rides and attractions over the nighttime spectaculars? Do you enjoy kicking back and taking a relaxing evening at your Disney Resort hotel pool or toasting marshmallows around the campfire before watching a movie under the stars?

We love to enjoy all of these things and even sometimes spend the evening in one of the Walt Disney World bars, with a specialty cocktail in hand, just soaking in the atmosphere, living in the moment, and being grateful for the Disney experience. We, recently, did just that in a spot that was simply stunning. So, we just had to share it with you!

Geyser Point Bar & Grill

Nestled on the shores of Bay Lake, beyond the trees at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, Geyser Point Bar & Grill is a scenic outpost serving drinks, snacks, and rustic fare throughout the day. Open from 11 a.m. through to 11 p.m. each day, it offers the perfect place to lounge and dines on a spacious open-air deck. Light bites and rustic dishes are served through to 10 p.m., making it a great place to enjoy a full-service meal or share small plates for a lighter offering.

Geyser Point Bar

We visited Geyser Point Bar & Grill to enjoy post-dinner drinks and were certainly not disappointed! The lounge chairs make the perfect place to relax after a magical day and take in the views right from your spot. Geyser Point Bar & Grill offers a full bar so that Guests can choose from plenty of beer and wine selections, as well as a full cocktail menu and a wide selection of spirits.

Our favorite cocktails that always hit the spot just right include: Banana Cabana;  Frozen Pina Colava; and Magical Beacon Cocktail, which features your very own Glow Cube to take home with you. A specialty cocktail featured at Geyser Point Bar & Grill is the Worth Melting For, named after everyone’s favorite snowman, Olaf. It’s the perfect mix of 44° North Mountain Huckleberry Vodka, Pineapple Juice, Sweet-and-Sour, and Agave Nectar, and made for a refreshing drink to sip on whilst taking in the peaceful evening.

Evening Entertainment

The food and drinks are not the only reason to visit Geyser Point Bar & Grill for an evening, though. There’s plenty to see from this spot that will provide you with the whole Disney experience.

Geyser Point’s location on the grounds of Disney’s Wilderness Lodge offers wonderful views across Bay Lake. The time it right to secure a spot on the outdoor deck of the Disney restaurant, and your dinner and drinks will be taken from a regular dining experience to one that is filled with complete Disney magic.

With plenty of seating arrangements close to the shore of Bay Lake, you’ll get a stunning view of the sunset across Bay Lake. There’s nothing quite like taking in that idyllic view whilst watching the water taxis traveling to and from Magic Kingdom Park, Disney’s Contemporary Resort, and Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground.

Soon after sunset, the sky will be lit up with the Disney Enchantment fireworks. Whilst you won’t be able to see Cinderella Castle from this spot, the soundtrack is played through the speakers that line the path that separates Bay Lake from Geyser Point Bar & Grill. Watch the fireworks above the trees and the reflections created in the waters of Bay Lake below, in time to the soundtrack of the nighttime spectacular.

And just when you’re thinking that the evening couldn’t get any better, it does… Stay right where you are, and get a perfect view of Disney’s Electrical Water Pageant. Listen to the medley of songs that play as each part of the procession lights up.

Tips to Help Make your Evening Perfect

  • Whilst there may be walk-ins available, we’d recommend securing an advance dining reservation to secure your spot in Geyser Point Bar & Grill ahead of dining there, to avoid disappointment. This can also help with parking at the Disney Resort hotel if you are visiting during peak seasons and using your own car.
  • It’s just a short water taxi ride away from Magic Kingdom, making it the perfect place to retreat to after a day visiting the Disney Park. Once you reach the boat landing, stay to the left and follow the path along passed the Wilderness Lodge geyser.
  • If you or the rest of your party are sports fans, then this is a great place to enjoy a drink whilst watching a sports game. Several TV screens around the bar showcase football, baseball, basketball, and ice hockey games, depending on the time of year.
  • You don’t have to eat at Geyser Point Bar & Grill; it’s an awesome place to stop by for a drink. Wait times will depend on the availability of tables, so speak to a Cast Member when you arrive who will be able to seat you. It would make the perfect spot to relax after a fun dinner at Whispering Canyon Cafe or Artist Point.

Have you visited Geyser Point Bar & Grill yet? If not, we hope you’re feeling inspired to visit during your next visit to the Walt Disney World Resort.
