Disney has been making their most loyal fans nervous as of late, remaining silent about Annual Passes at Walt Disney World Resort and Magic Keys at Disneyland Park. We recently shared that Walt Disney World Guests have been wondering when Annual Passes will return.

Disney’s official website simply states, “New sales of select Annual Passes are currently paused,” giving Guests no clue as to when they will make their comeback. According to SFGATE, Disneyland Guests have been suffering with similar uncertainties.

Southern California residents have been taking to social media, expressing nervousness over expiring passes. Disneyland’s Annual Pass program disappeared during the pandemic.

After this unprecedented event, which frustrated loyal Disneyland Park goers, the Resort premiered a different kind of Annual Pass. The program donned a new name, Magic Key, and unique restrictions were implemented.

Magic Keys became available to the public on August 25, 2021, and with the completion of a full year approaching, keyholders are becoming anxious. Disneyland has yet to release any news of renewals for the beloved Passes.

Many avid Park-goers have been Annual Passholders for years, and not knowing if they will be able to continue in their family tradition has caused frustration and confusion. Why hasn’t Disney said anything?

Some people’s Magic Keys have already expired. They had an earlier expiration date because Guests converted multi-day tickets into Annual Passes.

Several Magic Key holders will lose access to Disneyland Park in a couple of weeks. So, what do Disneyland Guests have to say about all of this?

SFGATE reports that many Magic Key holders have stated the absence of Annual Pass offerings will stop them from visiting the Resort. Wow, looks like it finally happened!

Disney caused their ferociously loyal Pass Holders to reach their limit. After all, it’s not practical for Guests to purchase single-day tickets over and over to experience frequent trips to the Park. It’s just too expensive!

What do you think? Will Walt Disney World and Disneyland eventually bring back their Annual Passes and Magic Keys? Let’s hope so!
