If you’ve been feeling like your wallet is a little lighter at Disney Parks lately, this ticket news is for you.
Disney theme parks are full of magic – from attractions like Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance and TRON Lightcycle / Run to dining options such as Be Our Guest and Cinderella’s Royal Table, there’s something for everyone at Disneyland Resort in California and Walt Disney World in Florida.
The parades, fireworks, rides, and restaurants, however, come at a price, a price that has slowly been increasing to the point where many Disney fans can’t afford to visit. Disney Guests, however, may be able to stretch their dollars a little further this summer with Disney’s new theme park ticket deal.
The cost of a Disney vacation has dramatically increased recently, with ticket prices, restaurant meals, snack prices, and parking fees all being ramped up. This doesn’t even factor in extra costs such as Disney Genie+, Disney’s paid “FastPass” system, Disney PhotoPass, and the removal of Disney’s Magical Express.
Now, Disney has revealed a surprising new deal that gives eligible Disney Park Guests a cheaper option to experience the magic of meeting Mickey Mouse, riding Space Mountain, or seeing the fireworks over Sleeping Beauty Castle.
Starting soon, California residents may purchase Disneyland Resort tickets for a discounted price. The deal includes a 3-day, 1-park-per-day ticket starting at $83 a day. This deal is valid Monday through Thursday.
For those wishing to go Monday through Sunday, the ticket deal goes up to $100 per day.
Typically, single-day tickets to Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park will cost Guests around $110-120, meaning eligible Guests can save big this summer at “The Happiest Place on Earth!”
The visits to Disney’s Anaheim theme parks do not need to occur on adjacent dates, and there are no blockout dates for this Disney discount (unless you count the weekend blockout for the $249 ticket deal). This deal is valid for California residents starting June 12 and will last until September 28:
- 3-Day (Monday to Thursday), 1-Park Per Day Ticket – $249 ($83/Day)
Not Valid for Admission on Fridays to Sundays - 3-Day (Monday to Sunday), 1-Park Per Day Ticket – $299 ($100/Day)
Essentially, once you get this Disney ticket offer, you can visit three times from June 12 through September 28, 2023. This is, of course, subject to theme park reservation availability, which is not guaranteed with purchase.
If you’d like to visit both Disneyland and Disney California Adventure Park in one day, a Park Hopper Ticket upgrade as well as the Disney Genie+ service can be added for additional fees.
This special Disney Park ticket offer is only valid for California residents within ZIP codes 90000 to 96199. Each Guest over 18 using a California Resident ticket must show proof of eligible residency for purchase and admission. Eligible residents may purchase up to 5 tickets per day with valid ID.
The Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California is home to two theme parks, three hotels (Disneyland Hotel, Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, and Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel), as well as the Downtown Disney shopping and dining district.
The California Disney Resort opened back in 1955 and has seen many changes since Walt Disney himself designed the Disneyland Park. Pirates of the Caribbean, Space Mountain, and Big Thunder Mountain are just a few attractions that are very different from Walt Disney World’s version, but Florida Guests can enjoy the same Star Wars land, Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway, and until recently, Splash Mountain.
Rogers: The Musical from the Marvel Cinematic Universe will be making its debut at the Hyperion Theatre this summer.
