Reselling the Magic
Ticket scalpers are at it again. Current Oogie Boogie Bash tickets have sold out for the special event held at Disney California Adventure Park. But there is one way to still get tickets…an expensive way…

Oogie Boogie Bash Ticket resellers on sites like eBay, StubHub, and other places are selling the tickets for prices up to $2,000. Disneyland meanwhile sold the same tickets (at most) for $189 for the Halloween event.
Although most sellers offer free shipping or local pick-up options, it doesn’t seem like it’s quite worth the 10X profit some people are trying to make off of the event.
One TikTok user seems to have even captured prices as high as $3,199.99. But that listing has since been deleted, lowered, or perhaps even purchased.

Oogie Boogie Bash Problems
There has been a lot of problems surrounding tickets for the Oogie Boogie Bash at Disney California Adventure Park, and this is just the latests. The tickets were originally released in June, but an overwhelming demand caused the Disney website to crash. As such, Disney halted all sales of the tickets and later resumed them on July 11.
Again, they were met with an overwhelming demand and many dates such as Halloween sold out within hours. The event does offer only a limited number of tickets, which is also part of the reason Disney Park fans have been so eager to buy them ASAP.

It’s unclear whether or not (or even how) Disneyland Resort would or could crack down on their ticket scalpers. It’s not the first time Disney or another popular event (cough, cough, Taylor Swift concerts) have seen ticket resellers buy up a large inventory and attempt to turn a profit based on the work of those much more talented – be it a musician of Disney Imagineers.
