The One-of-a-Kind Disney Vacation That Spans Two Weeks & Five Destinations

Think you’ve done it all when it comes to Disney vacations? Think again! Disney just unveiled lots of exciting updates at the D23 Expo this weekend that have us ready to book our next trip to Walt Disney World or Disneyland, but some of the biggest news actually has us dreaming of a Disney vacation at sea.

Following the launch of the Disney Wish earlier this summer, yesterday’s panel at D23 revealed the name of the next ship to join the Disney Cruise Line fleet. We also got a first look at the new private island Disney has purchased in the Bahamas for Cruise Line Guests, Lighthouse Point.

And Chairman of Disney Parks, Experiences and Products Josh D’Amaro shared that the Disney Wonder will soon be making her way “down under” as Disney Cruise Line launches its first Australia itineraries in 2023.

If one cruise around Australia and New Zealand isn’t quite enough for your next Disney Cruise, you have to check out the latest one-of-a-kind Disney vacation only available through upcoming repositioning cruises.

Two repositioning cruises will soon be available to book to account for the Disney Wonder’s trip to and from Australia. The first cruise departs from Honolulu, Hawai’i in October 2023 for a 13-night cruise to move the ship to Sydney, Australia. Along the way, Guests will stop at American Samoa, Fiji and New Caledonia, and they will be able to experience 14 sunsets over the course of the trip thanks to time changes.

Upon the ship’s arrival in Sydney, the Disney Wonder will set out for sails between Australia and New Zealand, but another repositioning cruise is already scheduled for her return to the states in 2024. The second repositioning cruise sets sail out of Sydney in February 2024 to make the Disney Wonder’s return trip to Honolulu, and Guests on this sailing will enjoy a 15-night vacation with nine nights at sea. Along the way, the ship will stop at New Caledonia, Fiji, American Samoa, and Maui.

Bookings for 2023 sails with Disney Cruise Line open throughout October (dates vary based on your Castaway Club status). You can find booking details and complete information on DisneyCruiseLine.com. Enjoy your next cruise!
