If you have been to Central Florida in the past few days, you will have seen the most bipolar weather. We have been hitting below freezing temperatures reaching near record lows followed by near record highs.

Last week we literally had temperatures in the 20s at night, which Floridians weren’t sure how to handle it. Even tourists in town from colder states may have been shocked that we don’t have weather that is always sunny with a high of 75.

If you are hitting the parks today, February 4, you are probably wearing shorts and short sleeves yet again. We are seeing temperatures in the mid-80s and bright sunshine.

If you are going to the Park tomorrow, February 5, it will be a different story. We will see a high of 62. Today, you may enjoy the wonderful weather at Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park, but they will be closed tomorrow due to cold temperatures.

Right now, you don’t know what you’re going to get in Central Florida. We have another cold front moving through that will last over a week.

A good rule of thumb is always to check the temperature before leaving on your vacation and pack for any weather conditions. Central Florida is truly unpredictable during the winter months, and we get some crazy weather.

One day you’ll be wanting to get a Mickey ice cream and a cold drink to cool off, and the next day you’ll be wanting to get some hot chocolate and turn on the heater.

Although we are getting cooler weather here, Floridians are very grateful that we don’t have to deal with harsh winter conditions. Even though we may complain about the hot, humid summers, we are glad that we don’t have snow and ice to deal with.
