A Guest’s Phone Causes Fire to Luigi’s Rollickin’ Roadsters

Disney fans were not happy to see the beloved ride Luigi’s Rollickin’ Roadsters on fire. This ride, which is a part of Cars Land at Disney California Adventure, is a wholesome ride that is particularly popular with a younger audience. Fans were shocked and distressed seeing this ride in a cloud of smoke on social media.

The viral social media video comes from user @hunterjakesteele. The video says, “When your sister breaks the whole ride at Disneyland because she drops her phone and it starts a literal fire.” The video shows his sister’s phone lying smoking on the ride track while the rest of the ride stands shut down. At the end of the video, the salvaged phone is shown mangled and clearly damaged beyond repair.

Fans React to Shocking Viral Video

The video has prompted an emotional response from fans. Some criticize the user for laughing at what they see as a difficult situation. Many are disappointed in the actions of the sister who dropped her phone on the Disneyland ride in the first place.

One user comments, “Seriously? It’s not that hard to hold onto your phone. Now they are going to prohibit recording on rides.”

Another user comments, “LIKE I DON’T UNDERSTAND WHY IT’S SO NORMAL FOR PPL RECORDING ON RIDES THESE DAYS AS IF THAT DON’T KILL PPL”.

Another user comments, “I love everyone telling her she should’ve had her phone not out during the ride, like sure that would stop it from falling but WHY IS IT ON FIRE??”

Fans clearly have strong feelings about this situation and how it could have been prevented. The fire was put out, and the ride in Cars Land is up and running again. Other than that, specifics on how this happened have not come to light. The Walt Disney Company has made no formal comment. As of now, the TikTok video posted by @hunterjakesteele has 259,000 views and 24,400 likes.
