Joey Fatone immediately cashed in on the hilarity of the incident, pointing out the furry friend’s arrival. But that’s not even the funniest part of the story.
Fatone noticed that the squirrel had a cigarette in its mouth! Several videos caught the wacky moment on camera, which had Guests in stitches.
In a TikTok posted by @waltdisneyworldparks, the band is shown cracking up in the background as lights shine on the squirrel during his big moment on stage. Joey Fatone comically mentions, “Leave it to Disney animatronics; this is amazing!”

Guests could not contain themselves as they observed the bizarre moment. The squirrel eventually jumped off the speaker, heading toward band members.
Fatone escorted the animal offstage, exclaiming, “Run free, we love you! Tell Snow White we said hello.” The singer has an interesting tie to Disney that dates back to the formation of NSYNC.
Fatone became friends with JC Chasez, who was a member of The All New Mickey Mouse Club (1989) at the time. From there, he was introduced to other members of the band, like Justin Timberlake, who also appeared on The Mickey Mouse Club (1993), and Lance Bass, who would later form the popular group.
