Would you believe we are already “Halfway to the Holidays”? If you are visiting Walt Disney World soon, you can celebrate this festive occasion by previewing some of the sweets and treats that will be available later this year during the holiday season.
The Disney Parks Blog just shared the first look at “Halfway to the Holidays” treats and there are some items on the list we cannot wait to try!
The Very Merry Minnie Mouse Cupcake will be available from June 23-26, 2022, at Gasparilla’s Island Grill at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. The cupcake is a favorite of Disney’s pastry team, featuring chocolate cake filled with cookies and cream mousse and topped with ganache-dipped buttercream, cookie “ears” and a holiday bow.
Of course, this cupcake is just a tiny sample of what Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort offers Guests during the holiday season. Each winter, the lobby comes alive with Disney’s most impressive gingerbread display, featuring a life-sized house that sells some of these delicious sweets.
At Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge, fans of peppermint bark will need to head over to The Mara to try the Peppermint Bark Cheesecake. On the menu at the resort’s quick service dining location June 23-26, 2022, the new Peppermint Bark Cheesecake is finished with a chocolate cookie and peppermint crust plus whipped vanilla panna cotta.
Popcorn buckets are all the rage for Guests at Walt Disney World, and thanks to Halfway to the Holidays, you may be able to get your hands on a festive seasonal bucket well ahead of the holiday season. The Gold Christmas Tree Popcorn Bucket is the ultimate holiday Disney Park accessory, available at all Disney Springs popcorn carts while supplies last.
It wouldn’t be a holiday celebration without something warm to sip on (or iced, since it is summer right now!) and Joffrey’s Coffee & Tea Company in Disney Springs has us covered. The Disney Springs location will be serving up a Peppermint Mocha and a White Chocolate Gingerbread Latte, two very popular winter favorites, from June 23-26, 2022. Both drinks can be served hot or iced, and Guests ages 21 and over can even add a shot to theirs.
More holiday announcements for this winter at Walt Disney World will be coming up later this week. We can’t wait to share more updates for this holiday season and will be back with additional updates as we have them here on DisneyTips.
