Disney Tips Your Guide To A Great Disney Vacation
Yesterday, the Epic Entertainment Showcase at the D23 Expo in Anaheim brought some exciting news to Disney fans. The panel was filled with Disney+ announcements and musical performances, including some festive surprises. In case you missed it, here are some of the shows that will be making a debut on Disney+ this holiday season, to add a little more magical to the festivities.
The Hip Hop Nutcracker
This Disney+ Original special is inspired by the live stage dance phenomenon that is touring America during the 2022 holiday season. Directed by Nikki Parsons, The Hip Hop Nutcracker is set in New York City, and follows Maria-Clara who sets out to bring the Nutcracker to life in an attempt to rekindle her parents lost love. Watch as The Nutcracker ballet is reimagined through hip-hop.

The show will feature world-class dancers, including: Cache Melvin as Maria-Clara; Du-Shant “Fik-shun” Stegall as the Nutcracker; Comfort Fedoke; Viktor White; BDash; Kevin “Konkrete” Davis”; Mikhail Baryshnikov; Tiler Peck; KidaTheGreat AKA Kida Burns; the Jabbawockeez; and more.
Pentatonix Around The World For The Holidays
This new, unscripted show will follow the superstar a cappella group, Pentatonix, as they find inspiration for their annual holiday album. Watch as Pentatonix embark on a world tour with the help of a little Disney magic, where they will discover holiday traditions and take inspiration from around the globe. Whilst we don’t have a release date for the series just yet, it shouldn’t be too long before we can stream this on Disney+, with the holiday season just around the corner.

Best In Snow, hosted by Tituss Burgess, will also debut on Disney Plus this winter, along with new Disney Christmas movies that will help to bring a little more magic to your 2022 Christmas. Be sure to add The Santa Clauses, starring Tim Allen, and the extended version of The Muppet Christmas Carol to your list of holiday movies and series this year as well.
Additionally, make a note of other new series that will be available to stream on Disney+ very soon, including High School Musical The Musical The Series Season 4, the ‘National Treasure’ series, and season 2 of the Magic of Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
