Frozen tells the story of two royal sisters and their adventures in a magical, wintry land. Crown princess Elsa harbors ice powers she keeps secret from her younger sister Anna, leading to their estrangement.

When Elsa’s coronation festivities go awry, Arendelle is plunged into an enchanted snowstorm. Anna embarks on a treacherous journey up the North Mountain to rekindle their bond, and the sisters must come together to thaw a frozen heart.

The sisters, alongside supporting characters Kristoff, Sven the Reindeer, and Olaf the lovable Snowman have all become fan favorites and household names in many Disney-loving homes.

The Disneyland Resort in Anaheim is home to Frozen! Live at the Hyperion, and recently re-opened the gates to Anna and Elsa’s Royal Welcome at Disney California Adventure. On the East Coast, Frozen fun can be found across the Walt Disney World Resort: in the Magic Kingdom parades, EPCOT attractions, and soon, even Blizzard Beach!

Guests also eagerly anticipate the opening of the Frozen portions of the new Fantasy Springs at Tokyo Disneysea, but this is not the only Disney Park in Asia to welcome Guests to Arendelle.

New images of the upcoming “World of Frozen” themed area at the Hong Kong Disneyland Resort were shared by the Disney Parks Twitter today:

The images clearly show construction occurring on Arendelle Castle and a few additional village buildings! It is truly thrilling (or maybe, chilling) to see one of our favorite film locations being brought to life! Disney notes that Elsa has yet come and blanket Arendelle in her beautiful, enchanted snow, but that the “icy ornamentation” will magically appear soon!

Are you excited to catch a glimpse of the World of Frozen for the first time in forever? Will you be visiting Hong Kong Disneyland once it opens?
