Disney’s Hollywood Studios is an amazing theme parks that brings all of the magic of television and movies to life through wonderful experiences that are thrilling and family friendly. Guests who visit the park can enjoy a variety of experiences that include delicious dining options, amazing shopping, live entertainment, thrilling attractions, and so much more! In fact, there is so much to do in the park that it is impossible to experience it all in just one day. Those who do only have one day to enjoy Disney’s Hollywood Studios should plan on arriving when it opens and staying until closing to make the most out of all of the experiences there to be enjoyed. From early morning to late night, there are definitely some experiences in the park that are so amazing that they have to be enjoyed on a guest’s on day there. Here are the eight things guests should enjoy if they only have one day in Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

1. Star Tours – The Adventure Continues

Disney’s Hollywood Studios is home to many amazing Star Wars adventures for fans of the sci-fi series to enjoy, however there is one attraction that is so great it can’t be missed. Star Tours – The Adventure Continues has guests board a normal Star Tours flight across the galaxy, but things suddenly becoming more thrilling when a Rebel Spy is discovered on board. The attraction then brings guests through a series of randomized 3D scenes that feature familiar locations and characters as they race across the galaxy to safely deliver the Rebel Spy to a secret location.

2. Toy Story Land

The newest area of Disney’s Hollywood Studios is Toy Story Mania where character like Woody and Buzz come to life. Guests can enjoy feeling like a toy as they ride favorite attractions like Toy Story Mania, Slinky Dog Dash, and Alien Swirling Saucers. In addition to the wonderful attractions, guests can dine at Woody’s Lunch Box for breakfast, lunch, and dinner and enjoy unique quick service eats. With amazing theming, attractions, food, and more, guests definitely need to spend time in Toy Story Land if they only have one day in Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

3. The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror

One of the most thrilling attractions in Disney’s Hollywood Studios can be found at the end of Sunset Boulevard housed inside the abandoned Hollywood Tower Hotel. The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror brings guests into an episode of the classic television show after they learn that five guests mysteriously disappeared one night many years ago after their elevator was struck by lightning. Soon guests board a service elevator and find themselves at the mercy of the tower as they plummet and soar in a randomized drop sequence that is different every time!

4. Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith

Also found at the end of Sunset Boulevard is another thrilling attraction that allows guests to rock out with Hollywood royalty. The Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith has guests board super stretch limos to try and race across town in time to make it to the band’s concert. Guests zoom from zero to sixty in seconds and can enjoy several inversions while flying through darkness and neon lights and listening to blasting music from Aerosmith. This thrilling experience is one that definitely shouldn’t be missed on a day in Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

5. BaseLine Tap House

The Grand Avenue area of Disney’s Hollywood Studios is home to a wonderful dining location that offers up small bites and delicious beverages inspired by the flavors of California. BaseLine Tap House is a charming location featuring brick details and an open air patio where guests can sip and nibble. The location is a great place to enjoy an afternoon beer or wine and guests are sure to love food favorites such as the Bavarian Pretzel and the California Cheese and Charcuterie Plate. BaseLine Tap House is the perfect location to relax for a while each afternoon in Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

6. Carrot Cake Cookie

No visit to Disney’s Hollywood Studios is complete without enjoying a favorite snack that has its own fan following. The Trolley Car Café on Hollywood Boulevard is a Starbucks location that also serves up some delicious snacks including the Carrot Cake Cookie. This massive treat features two fresh baked cookies that are really carrot cake and a healthy dollop of cream cheese frosting in between.

7. The Hollywood Brown Derby

By far the best location to enjoy dinner in Disney’s Hollywood Studios is The Hollywood Brown Derby. This signature restaurant invites guests to dine in a Hollywood favorite surrounded by caricature sketches of famous individuals. The food at The Hollywood Brown Derby is delicious and favorite menu items include the Our Famous Cobb Salad, Charred Filet of Beef, Duck Two Ways, Faroe Island Salmon, and Brown Derby Original Mini Grapefruit Cake.

8. Fantasmic

The perfect ending to a day in Disney’s Hollywood Studios is enjoying a live show in the massive Hollywood Hills Amphitheater. Fantasmic is performed nightly and brings guests on an amazing journey into Mickey’s imagination where he is battling the forces of evil. Guests can enjoy special effects, familiar Disney music and characters, pyrotechnics, fireworks, and more in this unforgettable experience. Those who only have one day to enjoy in Disney’s Hollywood Studios definitely should end it with a viewing of Fantasmic!
