Johnny Depp Says He ‘Needed the Work’ After Highly Publicized Trial With Amber Heard

A short time ago, TVs all over the globe were simultaneously tuned in to an epic trial involving Jack Sparrow himself, Johnny Depp. The actor is beloved by the Disney community, starring in multiple films The Walt Disney Company has produced over the years.

During the trial, some might say people became a little too obsessed with its details. Social media came alive with debates about whether you were Team Johnny or Team Amber, and if you were team Amber, you’d be exposed to a myriad of derogatory remarks.

People seemed to stand behind Johnny even before the trial began. Multitudes showed up to cheer the artist on as he entered the courtroom. Amber Heard wasn’t quite so lucky. With seemingly no fans of her own, Johnny Depp enthusiasts booed the blonde beauty each day she arrived at court.

After weeks of alarming testimony from Johnny Depp and his ex-wife Amber Heard, Depp found favor with the jury. The verdict sided with his testimony, proving all aspects of defamation by Ms. Heard.

So, what has Johnny Depp been up to since he graced screens across the globe in the infamous trial? The actor returned to his passion for performing. Fans have been posting videos all over social media of Depp playing the guitar in his band.

A few days ago, the actor made a rather bizarre surprise appearance at the MTV VMA’s. Floating in the sky dressed as a Moonman, he made a virtual cameo, stating that he ‘needed the work.’

He followed the joke up with a random spiel about what jobs he’s available for. Although the actor is not short on fans, the performance left people divided. Some questioned why he was included in the ceremony at all, citing that it didn’t make any sense.

Whatever the case, it certainly was an interesting choice for the usually private actor. What did you think about his appearance?
