Limited Edition Cupcake Now Available at Disney World

With so many Walt Disney World sweet snacks, sometimes it can be a tough choice to choose what we want to get.

There’s the obvious Dole Whip from Aloha Isle in the Magic Kingdom, the School Bread from the Norway Pavillion in EPCOT, and one of our favorites, the Chewbacca-themed Wookie Cookie from the Backlot Express in Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

Well, every so often during holidays and special events, Disney will release some very special limited edition snacks.

We at Disney Tips have previously reported on some of the limited edition snacks that you will find available around Disney property in celebration of Earth Day. With so many to choose from, we decided to focus on one specific sweet treat. The Earth Day Cupcake, which can be found at The Boardwalk Bakery at The Disney’s Boardwalk Resort.

Let’s start with the design of this delicious work of art. This cupcake is contained in a pretty red and white striped cup with green icing crafted to resemble blades of grass. Atop the icing, you will find a ladybug made with red and black chocolate and a common daisy, also made of chocolate, but with the obvious white and yellow.

This cupcake was super moist with a nice subtle taste of lemon. It had that little bite of tartness that will make your taste buds stand at attention. The gorgeously sculpted icing on top was just the perfect amount of sweetness. With this combo of tart and sweet, The Boardwalk Bakery knocked this dessert out of the park. Additionally, this treat is a full-sized cupcake, and big enough to share.

The Earth Day Cupcake is affordably priced at $6.29, plus tax, and is only around for a limited time. So, hurry up and get down to the Boardwalk Bakery and treat yourself to this special Earth Day snack.

While you’re there to purchase your cupcake, take a look at the rest of the menu, as they are loaded with a bunch of tasty sandwich options. Also, maybe stop by Thimbles & Threads to pick up some fun Disney’s Boardwalk Resort-themed merchandise while you’re in the area.
