Walt Disney World and all Disney properties are among the best at focusing on the guest experiences and constantly looking for opportunities to improve this experience. Â Disney is making changes at the check-in area at the resorts to help streamline the process and reduce the wait times. Â They have already started making one major change, which is remove the Online Check-In lines at the front desk. Â They are actually already completely gone from most resorts. Â The lines are being set up to merge into one line so that there is only one line for guests to wait in for any of their needs. Â At some resorts, the concierge services will part of the single line. Â This is expected to streamline the guests coming through and allow all staff at the front desk to be able to to accommodate any question, request or need by guests in hopes that it will reduce wait time instead of creating backlog in certain lines.

Disney has also updated their online check-in service in My Disney Experience, where in a lot of cases you can completely eliminate the need to go to the front desk at all.  Now you can complete the check-in process online, set up your charge card and everything.  Then once you arrive, Disney will send  a text when your room is ready along with the room information so that you can head to your room and get settled in.  This way when you first arrive you can check your carry on bags with the bell stand and head out to enjoy the parks or whatever you had planned for your day instead of waiting in line to check in.
We love how streamlined and convenient the whole experience is at Disney resorts. Â We can’t wait to see what other changes they have in store for us in the future.
