Have plans to visit Walt Disney World Resort in mid-July? If visiting Magic Kingdom Park is in your plans, take note that a showtime update is in the works for its new “Disney Enchantment” nighttime spectacular.
Walt Disney World is in the midst of celebrating its 50th Anniversary! Two new fireworks shows debuted on Disney’s 50th Anniversary including “Disney Enchantment” at Magic Kingdom and “Harmonious” at EPCOT.
As Disney works to adjust to the Park crowd levels and its new Park Pass Reservation system, it seems Magic Kingdom is expecting large crowds between the week of July 14 – 24, 2022 … so much so, that they are doubling up the nightly fireworks performance!
Currently, Disney Enchantment’s single nightly showtime is at 9:20 pm. When looking at Walt Disney World’s daily calendar, however, beginning July 14, 2022, Disney Enchantment is scheduled to be presented twice at both 9:20 pm and 11:00 pm. The calendar currently shows the two showtimes available through July 24, 2022. On July 25, 2022, the single showtime of 9:20 pm returns.
Adjustments aren’t anything new! While Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park does not offer a fireworks show, we have seen performance and showtime adjustments for its new daytime show, Disney KiteTails, as well as showtime cancellations and changes for the newly revamped Finding Nemo: The Big Blue… and Beyond.
Looking for a unique way to view the Disney Enchantment fireworks? If you haven’t already, check out the Disney Enchantment Fireworks Dessert Party in Tomorrowland Terrace which we recently shared has unlimited alcoholic beverages.
If you don’t have a Park ticket and still want a great view of the fireworks, Disney Vacation Club Members and their Guests are welcome to explore the new Top of the World “Villains Lair” on top of Bay Lake Tower which opens on July 11, 2022.
We’ll be sure to keep Disney Tips readers updated on this Magic Kingdom fireworks adjustment as the dates draw nearer.
