minnie-shopping

We all want that magical souvenir from our vacation to Walt Disney World in Florida.

From Minnie ears and popcorn buckets to spirit jerseys and snowglobes, there is so much merchandise on offer in Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Disney’s Animal Kingdom, and Disney Springs.

The cost can add up, and on top of increasing ticket prices and the replacement of FastPass with the expensive Disney Genie+, things can get quite costly on a Disney trip.

But have you heard about this merchandise secret that will guarantee you the cheapest personalized souvenir on property?

We all know and love the free celebration buttons at Disney’s theme parks.

From “Happy Birthday” to “Just Married”, the buttons provide Guests with a fun, free souvenir that can also spark joy as Cast Members recognize your celebration.

But what if we told you these could get upgraded to make for a beautiful – and cheap – piece of personalized merchandise?

That’s right! For only an extra $3, you can get your button bedazzled with a Disney artist’s decoration.

Head to the Ye Old Christmas Shoppe at Magic Kingdom for some extra Disney magic, a shop that already conjures up that amazing Christmas smell and beautiful ornaments.

At the Christmas store in Liberty Square, ask a Cast Member for a personalized button order. These artistic extras are available in different fonts and colors!

The only catch? The more words you select, or the more bedazzlement, the higher the price tag. Prices start at $3, which includes a name and some complementary artwork.

Your choices include Pixie Dust, hearts, stars, and paw prints. If you’d like to upgrade your design for an additional $3 ($6 in total) to a more elaborate piece of artwork, you can add balloons, fireworks, Christmas lights, and even holly.

Ink color choices are gold, silver, blue, green, and purple.

The process takes the talented Cast Members some time, so be prepared to go ride Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, grab a bite to eat at Pecos Bills, or see Mickey’s Philharmagic before your magical button is finished.

So, next time you want an exciting and beautiful souvenir that is personal to you, head to the Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe for the cheapest, personalized souvenir at Walt Disney World!
