Disney Tips Your Guide To A Great Disney Vacation
One of Disney’s most iconic fashionistas, Minnie Mouse, has impressed Guests with several iconic looks over the years, and the next revamp of her wardrobe is set to debut next year.
Minnie’s style has evolved so much since her debut alongside Mickey Mouse in Steamboat Willie (1928). And while she is usually seen sporting her iconic red dress with white polka dots, we occasionally see her in a more simplistic skirt with her hat adorned with a whimsical daisy. In recent years, we’ve seen Minnie change up her wardrobe based on seasonal events, new promotions, and even new destinations in the case of her travels with Disney Cruise Line.

Some of Minnie’s looks over the years have even become the subject of great controversies, as some of the icon’s internet followers have occasionally taken issue with certain styles, particularly the pants suit she wore last year at Disneyland Paris.
Minnie’s 30th-anniversary look in Paris is far from the only time she has sported pants instead of her arguably more recognizable skirt, however. In 2019, Minnie became captain of Disney Cruise Line ships in an effort to inspire young girls to consider a career in the maritime industry or others that tend to be mail dominated. And while she does have a skirt option, too, for a captain uniform, Minnie can often be spotted aboard Disney Cruise Line ships wearing pants:

In 2024, Minnie will debut another brand new look specific to the Disney Treasure, the next ship to launch from Disney Cruise Line. The current fleet includes the Disney Magic, Disney Wonder, Disney Dream, Disney Fantasy, and the newest addition, the Disney Wish, which launched last summer.
The Disney Treasure is set to offer Guests a totally unique experience from other ships currently in the fleet with a greater focus on adventure. Following this adventurous spirit, Minnie’s captain look will be given a new look for sails aboard the upcoming ship.
