Disney Visa Card Benefits

Other benefits include discounts when making certain Disney purchases, special offers when traveling, and flexible payment plans if you book a Disney vacation using the card. In addition, you can choose from multiple credit card designs featuring classic characters, castle images, and even special licensed properties such as Star Wars. The designs offered change over time; currently, there are ten options for current and new cardholders.

New Design

The newest addition to be announced is Princess Tiana. Drawing inspiration from the original poster that promoted The Princess and the Frog (2009), the new card design features the Disney princess kneeling to kiss Prince Naveen (in Frog form) with Ray flying behind her. The entire image is inserted within a silhouette of Princess Tiana.

The back of the card displays the night sky as seen in the movie, including Ray, the firefly forming a heart-shaped trail with his light while his love, Evangeline, shines in the back.

New Attraction

The new credit card design comes shortly after Splash Mountain attractions at the Magic Kingdom and Disneyland Park have closed and construction on Tiana’s Bayou Adventure has begun. The new ride will feature 17 original audio-animatronics, original jazz-inspired music, and re-use much of the same flume ride system.

About Steven Wilk

Steven has a complicated relationship with Disney. As a child, he visited Walt Disney World every few years with his family. But he never understood why kids his age (and older) were so scared of Snow White or Alien Encounter. He is a former participant of the Disney College Program (left early…long story), and he also previously worked in Children’s publishing, where he adapted multiple Disney movies and TV shows. He has many controversial opinions about Disney…like having a positive view of Michael Eisner, believing Return of the Jedi is superior to The Empire Strikes Back, and that Toy Story Land and Galaxy’s Edge should have never been built (at least not at Hollywood Studios). Every year for the past two decades, Steven has visited either Walt Disney World, Disneyland, Aulani or went on a Disney Cruise. He’s happy to share any and all knowledge of the Disney destinations (and he likes using parenthesis a lot…as well as ellipses…)
