As one might expect, ride breakdowns and malfunctions occur quite frequently at Disney’s Theme Parks. Cutting-edge technology plus numerous elements working together to create unparalleled immersive experiences equal occasional errors.

Yesterday, we reported an emergency evacuation on Rise of the Resistance in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at the Disneyland Resort. Guests were unsure why they had to disembark the attraction, but sirens and flashing lights signaled it was time to leave.

Today, we have another incident to report onboard the same attraction in Southern California, but this one will send you spinning with laughter…literally. In a hilarious video posted on TikTok by @roberttolppi, an animatronic is seen blowing a fuse!

Disney fans are already well aware that Kylo Ren has an angry disposition, but this time, he went too far! Though the character normally gesticulates excessively during this portion of the ride, this was a bit over the top!

As the ride vehicle approaches Kylo Ren near the end of the experience, the animatronic spins uncontrollably! Round and round he goes, and Disney fans had some hilarious responses to the alarming sight!

♬ You Spin Me Round (Like a Record) – Dead Or Alive

The TikToker who posted the video comically wrote, “I don’t think the animatronic is supposed to do this.” Set to “You Spin Me Round (Like a Record)” by Dead or Alive, the song perfectly captures the moment, making for one hilarious recording!

The villain actually looks rather graceful in the scene, with his cape flowing through the air like Princess Elsa from Frozen (2013). One commenter, @lunathetunagirl, comically noted, “The hills are allllliive with the soooound of muuusic.”

Another TikTok user, @bizzlebeesizzle, interjected, “I’m gonna be really upset when it doesn’t do this the next time I go on the ride!” You couldn’t make this stuff up if you tried; it’s just too funny!

If you’d like to see how the animatronic normally functions, check out the full ride video (above) posted by the Orange County Register, and fast forward to the 14:15 mark. We hope this gave you as much of a laugh as it gave us!
