Whether visiting Walt Disney World or Disneyland Resort, Guests can step into Frontierland to experience the wild, wild west like never before.

No attraction keeps Guests more engrossed in a western way of thinking than the Big Thunder Mountain Railroad.

The story for this thrill ride is as follows:

Legend has it that after gold was discovered in the 1850s, eerie incidents took place in the mine. Trains would take off and race through tunnels… by themselves.

Although Guests may expect to encounter “eerie incidents” as they enter the ‘cursed cavern’ of Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, the last thing they expect to see is an electric scooter blocking the tracks. However, Guests visiting Disneyland Resort a couple of days ago saw precisely that.

On November 30, Guests onboard the “rip-roaring adventure” of Big Thunder Mountain Railroad could not return to one of the unloading zones because someone had accidentally driven an electric scooter onto the attraction’s tracks.

As of right now, we’re unsure how and why this happened. Nobody knows who drove their scooter onto the tracks of the attraction, nor if anyone was hurt.

Some are speculating that a Cast Member was attempting to get the electric scooter to a Guest who needed it, but there’s no confirmation on this report.

Thankfully, there’s no indication that anyone was injured in this crazy situation. The Cast Members removed the electric scooter from Big Thunder Mountain Railroad’s tracks with no damage, and the attraction is up and running again.

Although Disneyland Resort is full of once-in-a-lifetime sights and sounds, an electric scooter stuck on the tracks probably takes the cake for one of the strangest Disneyland experiences!
