Have You Eaten at These Romantic Spots in Disney Springs?

Sure, it’s Valentine’s Day next month, but truth be told, we never need an excuse to visit a romantic bar, lounge, or restaurant at Walt Disney World. Stunning water views,  exquisitely beautiful décor, an intimate, cozy feel, the perfect menu or wine list – there are lots of factors that make an eatery romantic.

Luckily, Walt Disney World’s entertainment, dining and shopping complex Disney Springs has you covered when it comes to all types of dining, including romantic. Here are some of our favorite spots for a romantic drink, snack or meal at Disney Springs.

Enzo’s Hideaway Tunnel Bar

What’s more romantic than a secret bar? We can’t think of a better place for an intimate meal and a few drinks than Enzo’s Hideaway Tunnel Bar in The Landing at Disney Springs.

We love the clandestine speakeasy vibe here that takes its cue from Florida’s real-life rum-running history. Exposed brickwork, graffitied walls, and stone arches all contribute to the cozy tunnel feel.  Enzo’s specializes in Prohibition-era cocktails, but there’s also a surprisingly extensive dining menu here, so don’t think you’re limited to small plates and drinks.

Italian cuisine rules here, so you’ll find favorites like Burrata Caprese, Ravioli Tre Formaggi, and Cannoli Siciliano, to name just a few.  Enzo’s Hideaway also boasts the biggest selection of scotches and rums of any restaurant in Disney Springs.

Paddlefish

We normally eschew Paddlefish in favor of The Boathouse at Disney Springs, but admittedly there is something romantic about dining aboard a steamboat, especially one with 360-degree killer water views.

Known as Fulton Crab House before its reimagining, Paddlefish awaits at The Landing, and it’s been completely redesigned with contemporary luxury theming.  Generic but upscale, the views are where this restaurant really shines! You can sit inside or outside, but try the roof deck for the most romantic, panoramic views of Disney Springs and Lake Buena Vista.

Surf and turf courses are the main fare at Paddlefish, and you can relax with a cocktail on Friday and Saturday nights and enjoy live entertainment with your date.

Jaleo

Head over to Disney Springs’ West Side for a completely different experience at Jaleo, brought to you by Chef José Andrés. If you’ve dined in Washington DC or Las Vegas, you may have come across Jaleo’s renowned counterparts in those cities.

Jaleo employs more subtle theming than many Walt Disney World eateries, and it feels casual, inviting and playful. It’s airy and modern, and the colors red and yellow are used throughout to evoke the Spanish influence at the core of this restaurant.

Guests come here for the authentic Spanish tapas, which are meant to be shared, perfect for a romantic date night. You can also sample one of the many paellas cooked fresh over a wood fire.

Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar

Indiana Jones theming is romantic, riiiight?? Before I lose you, I should mention that I’m neither an Indy afficionado nor a drinker, and I thoroughly enjoyed this eclectic little bar at The Landing in Disney Springs.

There are plenty of expansive upscale restaurants in Walt Disney World, but some of them can come off a tad cold or cavernous, not to mention noisy, hardly ideal for a romantic drink or meal with a loved one. Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar, on the other hand, is tiny, allowing for a sense of privacy and intimacy.

It’s also excellently themed as a 1940s airplane hangar, with plenty to look at both for fans of the Indiana Jones films and for those with only a passing acquaintance. There’s an assortment of creative and delicious appetizers, flatbreads and tacos on the menu, along with signature alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.

Wine Bar George

Oenophiles, rejoice – there’s a wine bar at The Landing in Disney Springs!  Wine Bar George is the only wine bar in the state led by a Master Sommelier, and that Master Sommelier is none other than George Miliotes, who was a member of the opening team and former manager of a little Disney restaurant you might have heard of called California Grill.

Although you can find more than 140 wines at this rustic-chic wine bar, don’t make the mistake of thinking Wine Bar George is stuffy or snobby. It’s designed to be approachable for all Guests, and your server will be well-versed in all things wine, so this is a perfect date night experience even for wine beginners.

Along with wine, you can also order family-style plates, small plates and even entrees here.

Terralina Crafted Italian

We’re suckers for picturesque waterfront views, and Terralina Crafted Italian’s vista of Disney Springs and Lake Buena Vista sucked us in and keeps us coming back.  It also helps that we’ve had some of the best service we’ve ever had on Walt Disney World property here.

Terralina is a great place to relax with a significant other over classic Italian comfort food, either inside or on the outdoor veranda.  Eats here run the gamut from wood-fired pizzas to pasta to ribeye steak, and be sure to leave some room for dessert (maybe a shared Gelato Sundae or Toffee Crunch Cannoli?).

Bottom Line

Disney Springs isn’t short on restaurants, bars and lounges that ooze charm and romance.  Whether you’re looking for a 3-course meal, a quick appetizer or an evening of cocktails and desserts with your loved one, it’s easy to find a romantic spot to spend time with someone special here.
