Popular Spider-Man Attraction ‘WEB SLINGERS’ to Close at Disney Park

Will the beloved Disney “WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure” attraction featuring Marvel’s Tom Holland as Peter Parker close in early January of 2023?

WEB SLINGERS opened fairly recently on June 4 of last year as part of the Avengers Campus at the Disney California Adventure Park. The attraction utilizes interactive elements to help Parker’s Spider-Man “wrangle rogue Spider-Bots run amok during this mayhem-filled mission” when the “WEB Open House goes haywire!”

For those who haven’t yet had the chance to experience swinging about the Avengers Headquarters with Spider-Man, Disneyland website offers a detailed description of the ride’s premises:

Embark on an action-packed adventure alongside the amazing Spider-Man! When Peter Parker’s helpful but otherwise buggy Spider-Bots get stuck in replication mode and escape from a WEB Workshop, Spider-Man must stop the rampaging robots before they wreak total techno-havoc across Avengers Campus. Problem is, they’re rapidly leveling up and becoming tough to beat!

Your task? Hop aboard a WEB Slinger vehicle and help weave a frenzied web to trap these friendly neighborhood sidekicks in true Spidey style. It’s up to you to unleash your inner hero and save the Campus from complete chaos!

However, because Disney has yet to provide the operation schedule times beyond January 10, it could be the closure will extend well into January, or even beyond. The reasoning behind WEB SLINGERS’ presumed refurbishment by Disney, like its duration (and once again like the true identity of the MCU Spider-Man), remains unknown.

Of course, DisneyTips will continue to provide updates on the situation as they become available. Until then, there are plenty of other attractions and experiences to enjoy at the Disneyland Resort!
