This Disney Park’s Presidential Attraction Is Closing In January

It seems like January is going to be an interesting time for Disney Parks with all of the closures that have been announced.

Over at Walt Disney World Resort, Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom attractions will be closing. In Animal Kingdom, which will soon show even more signs of its complex transformation, the Kali River Rapids will be closing on January 9 for refurbishment.

In Magic Kingdom, the classic attraction Splash Mountain will be closing on January 23 forever, opening up the following year as Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. Another classic attraction, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, will be closed from January 9 to 13 for refurbishments.

Over in Disneyland Resort, the classic attraction “it’s a small world” will also temporarily close in January for refurbishments.
