Each themed land is highly immersive, plays ambient music and sound effects, and contains face characters to create the illusion further. Walt Disney World’s Hollywood Studios is home to several iconic lands: Hollywood Boulevard, Echo Lake, Commissary Lane, Grande Avenue, Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, Animation Courtyard, Sunset Boulevard, and Toy Story Land.

Over in Toy Story Land, Guests are transported to Andy’s Backyard and are shrunken down to the size of a child’s plaything. There, they can meet their favorite characters, such as Sheriff Woody, Buzz Lightyear, and Bo Peep. But one of the most remarkable character interactions in the entire Park is the Green Army Drum Corps.

The Green Army Drum Corps consists of a group of the iconic Green Army Men, who can also be seen walking around Toy Story Land without their drums for more character interactions, providing high-energy entertainment for Guests.
When Walt Disney World Resort re-opened during the pandemic, nearly every character interaction was temporarily unavailable due to the safety guidelines. Slowly but surely, though, many face character interactions began to reappear. As for the Green Army Drum Corps, a reappearance wouldn’t be seen until November 2022.
