In , this applies to rides like “it’s a small world,” where Guests wait at the mercy of other Guests to enter and exit their boat. All the while, other Guests are watching, putting even more pressure on you to hurry up.

The video shows the painstakingly slow process of getting off the boat, all while other Guests are watching and waiting for their turn. Then at the end, arguably the most of all, Eric’s boat hits the boat in front of him.

Why do these moments bother us so much? We know deep down that no one is at fault, but we still find ourselves feeling ashamed for these unavoidable moments.
Maybe they’re a little too real, and they shatter some of that Disney magic. Perhaps the imaginary blame game everybody plays at a starts to get to us.
Whatever the reason, these moments never last long, so there’s no sense in dwelling on them. If the really gets to you, treat yourself to a churro or a Mickey-shaped treat and let the uncomfortable feelings melt away. After all, you’re at Disney!
