Disney is always cooking up something delicious! Even if it doesn’t sound like something you’d try, more often than not, Disney chefs create cuisine masterpieces. At EPCOT, International Food & Wine Festival is in full swing. The festival offers limited-time sips and bites in each pavilion, along with marketplaces from all over the world.

To join in on the fun, the muppets have posted up in the Odyssey, creating their very own tasting area. The Brew-Wing Lab is where Dr. Bunsen Honeydew and assistant Beaker are testing out all sorts of flavors. So far, we’ve seen the Pickle Milk Shake, which seems to be all the rave. Additionally, at the lab, they’ve cooked up various chicken wings with flavors you may have never thought to try out. Let’s see if you’d be up to the taste challenge.

Brew-Wing Chicken Wings

Raevon, a Walt Disney World Ambassador, signed on to do the chicken wing taste challenge. He meets with EPCOT Festival Chef Kevin Downing to try out five different flavors and a bonus milkshake at the end. Raevon’s reactions to each flavor are entertaining but also helpful if you’re willing to go outside your comfort zone and give your tastebuds some new delight.

While Raevon doesn’t try all of the wings offered at the Brew-Wing Lab, they have quite a few that will knock your socks off. The most surprising flavors may be the Peanut Butter and Jelly Sticky Wings because who would’ve thought that would work? But the sweetness and saltiness work well as a coating to the chicken. Furthermore, Raevon tries the Unnecessarily Spicy, Yet Extremely Tasty Scotch Bonnet Pepper-Curry Wings that Dr. Bunsen Honeydew whipped up. Raevon expresses the heat, but the creamy cucumber raita helps with the overall spice.

All of the wings offered at the Brew-Wing Labs are as follows;

  • Orange-Cardamom Wings (NEW)
  • Traditional Buffalo Wings with Celery and Ranch
  • Impossible Buffalo Chicken Tenders with Plant-Based Blue Cheese, Plant-Based Ranch and Celery (NEW) (plant-based item)
  • Scorching Hot Scotch Bonnet Pepper-Curry Wings with Creamy Cucumber Raita (NEW)
  • Peanut Butter and Jelly Sticky Wings
  • Garlic-Parmesan Wings
  • Crispy Brussels Sprouts with Buffalo Sauce, Plant-Based Blue Cheese, and Plant-based Ranch (plant-based item)

What’s so fun about new cuisine at Disney World is how inclusive it is. While Disney chefs are always looking for new ways to dazzle our tastebuds, they are also conscious of various diets and needs. The Brew-Wing Lab is a perfect example of that, combining not just regular chicken wings but plant-based options for those who are vegetarian or vegan.
