A famous singer, television host, actress, and most recently, celebrity narrator for EPCOT’s Candlelight Processional recently showcased some of the new changes in her life on a recent visit to the Walt Disney World Resort.
Of course, it’s well-known that every year as part of the Disney Park’s International Festival of Holidays, Disney brings in a few of our favorite household names to host the Candlelight Processional as celebrity narrators. Notably, this year’s lineup included Whoopi Goldberg and Neil Patrick Harris, who played tour guide himself on a well-earned visit to all four theme parks after his own Candlelight gig.
Disney fans will likely recognize Marie Osmond, a country pop singer, from her performance in Disneyland’s 30th Anniversary Celebration special, although her siblings are more well-known for 1970s’ Disneyland Showtime, where the Osmond Brothers group visit the Haunted Mansion (and of course, Donny Osmond provided the voice of Li Shang in 1998’s Mulan!).
The Walt Disney World website officially describes the Candlelight Processional:
Hear the stirring story of Christmas as told by a celebrity narrator at the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays. Each night, a celebrity narrator tells the story of Christmas, recounting the biblical tale of a savior born in Bethlehem. Woven into the production are stirring songs of hope and joy performed by the orchestra and massed choir.
In fact, Marie received the extra special role of hosting the Candlelight Processional performances on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and December 26. Afterward, the former star of Donny & Marie posted photos to Instagram, enjoying all the Disney Magic the Parks had to offer alongside her family, including her grandchildren and her husband, Steve Craig, whom she remarried 26 years after they first divorced in 1985!
Plus, although the couple has been reunited in the bonds of matrimony since 2011, it’s rare that the Osmond family celebrity shares photos of her husband via social media. In addition, Marie showed off her newly dyed blond highlights and a stylish pair of black Mickey Mouse print pants perfect for Disney Parks!

In the caption of her post, Marie she felt “blessed” to spend a week visiting Walt Disney World with her family, adding “I hope you have all had a relaxing and wonderful week!” Certainly, it sounds like she had the wonderful time she deserved after making magic for all the Disney World Guests!
