You’ll Love Cinderella’s Dress Even More When You See This Special Detail

When we think of Disney Princesses, perhaps the most iconic dress that comes to mind is Cinderella’s. From her transformation into her blue dress for the ball courtesy of her Fairy Godmother to her Castle in the Magic Kingdom, there is certainly a lot to love about Cinderella and her gorgeous taste in fashion and “home decor.”

But, as one Guest at Disneyland recently learned, Cinderella’s dress actually features one more very important detail…it has pockets!

Check out the video below posted to TikTok by @artbyadrie to see them for yourself:

Too fun 😂 I had just finished screaming in excitement when I discovered my own dress has pockets 😂 #cinderella #dress #keychain #disneyland #character #meetandgreet

Pockets have not been commonplace in women’s fashion until recently, so Cinderella is definitely ahead of the curve The pockets must come in handy when Cinderella receives small trinkets from Guests like in the video above, and when she’s out and about in the kingdom (we’ve never seen her with a purse, so those pockets must have lots of space!)

Planning to meet Cinderella on your next Disney vacation? At Walt Disney World, Cinderella greets Guests in Fantasyland right inside Princess Fairytale Hall. And, at Disneyland, Guests can find Cinderella at the character meet and greet location inside the Royal Hall.

Be sure to check the My Disney Experience app for Disney World or the Disneyland app for Disneyland for the most up-t0-date times and availability for character meet and greets with Cinderella and at other locations across each resort.

While in the Magic Kingdom, be sure to see all of the other nods to Cinderella around the Castle including Cinderella’s wishing well, and the gorgeous mosaics inside the Castle breezeway that tell the story from the classic Disney animated film.

Prince Charming Regal Carrousel is also not to be missed for the Cinderella fan. The carrousel was originally constructed in 1917 for the now defunt Detroit Palace Garden Park in Detroit, MI, making it the oldest attraction in the Magic Kingdom. Originally designed with a patriotic theme, you can even spot some Americana motifs among images from the Disney animated film.

Have a magical time seeing Cinderella during your next Disney vacation, and be sure to take some style cues from her because pockets in dresses are so convenient!
