Delightful Disney Drinks Let You Sip Your Way to a Prosperous Lunar New Year

If you love boba, matcha, or jasmine tea, you’ll want to read all about the latest designer drinks coming to Disney California Adventure Park as part of its annual Lunar New Year Celebration.

Since 2013, the Southern California theme park commemorates the Lunar New Year Festival of Chinese and Vietnamese zodiac calendars. From exclusive, limited time food, dining, merchandise, and entertainment offerings, the Disneyland Resort celebrates Chinese, Vietnamese, and Korean cultures across California.

This year especially, visitors to Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure (DCA) have a lot to celebrate, as 2023 also marks the 100th anniversary of the Walt Disney Studios and the launch of Disney Parks worldwide 100 Years of Wonder event. Moreover, if you like to ring in the New Year with a drink, there’s plenty to go around at each of the six outdoor festival booths, and dining locations across the Disney Park!

First, new flavors are coming to Paradise Garden Grill, like the non-alcoholic Tiger Milk Tea, complete with BobaBam Brown Sugar Boba and the Blackberry Soju Cocktail with soju, blackberry purée, lemon juice, and ginger. Plus, you can find Green Tea Horchata at the Pacific Wharf Cappuccino Cart, and a Raspberry Oat Milk Tea featuring Joffrey’s Coffee & Tea Co. Ceylon Tea, raspberry and demerara syrups, with a raspberry garnish at the Longevity Noodle Co. booth.

In addition, Joffrey’s Coffee & Tea Co. lends its delicious French Bistro Blend to the Coconut-Lavender Matcha Foam Iced Coffee, combining coconut milk, coconut cream, coconut foam, sea salt, topped with white chocolate sauce garnished with lavender matcha and purple sanding sugar at the Lucky 8 Lantern booth. Furthermore, enjoy a yummy Peach Yuja-Ade at Prosperity Bao & Bun, including Yuja-lemongrass purée, dragon fruit, peach syrups, lemon juice, and colorful butterfly pea flower tea, as non-alcoholic or with a kick of soju!

Prosperity Bao & Bun also offers its Lychee Celebration cocktail, which tops gin, prosecco, lychee syrup, yuja-lemongrass purée, and grapefruit juice garnished with a lovely edible purple orchid! Or, enjoy Red Dragon Spice TRaders and Wrapped with Love’s Guava Whiskey, Pineapple Baijiu, Grapefruit-Melon Wine, and Dancing Firecracker cocktails.

Lastly, at the all new Bamboo Blessings, Guests can enjoy delicious ales and lagers, like Tsingtao Premium Lager topped with frozen mango beer foam, or even the Lucky Flight or Prosperity Flight including Young Master Brewery, Stereo Brewing Co., Three Weavers Brewing Co., Four Sons Brewing Co., Master Gao Brewery, Anderson Valley Brewing Co., and Brewery X. These brews all include exotic notes like mandarin and tangerine, green tea and jasmine tea, black rice ale, and Vietnamese cinnamon, and most locations (like Lucky Fortune Cookery) will sell a souvenir lotus glow cube for extra added flair.
