Disney Teases Two New Villains at Oogie Boogie Bash

Halloween is just around the corner! And so is the Halloween celebration at Disneyland. Disneyland’s event is called Oogie Boogie Bash – A Disney Halloween Party. During select nights in September and October, mischievous fun comes to life at Disney California Adventure Park.

Although tickets are fully sold out for the event, Disneyland still has other ways to celebrate the spooky holiday. For those lucky enough to snag a ticket for this limited-time event, Guests can look forward to their favorite characters dressed up in their costumes, entertainment, special bites, and more. “Once the party starts at 6:00 p.m., you’ll be treated to 5 hours of ghoulish delights,” Disney details.

To add to the fun, Disneyland is teasing a surprise coming to Oogie Boogie Bash. Two new villains will join the party this year, and this teaser video has fans speculating who it will be.

During the Oogie Boogie Bash, there are plenty of event highlights to look forward to. Mickey’s Trick and Treat, Frightfully Fun Parade, and Villains Grove are just a few to note. These two new villains joining the event will be at Immersive Treats Trails, where Guests can “Collect Halloween candy along magical moonlit trails featuring appearances by some of your favorite Disney villains.”

Immersive Treats Trails offers an assortment of candy as well as an “assortment” of Disney characters. “Enjoy the park’s most bewitching season and head down our trick-or-treat trails for collecting sweets and a face-to-face with some of storytelling’s most legendary misfits, the Disney villains,” Disney details. We already know some of the classic villains to expect, like Cruella DeVil, Hades, Jafar, Maleficent, Captain Hook, Scar, and Gaston. So, who could these two new villains be?

Thanks to the teaser video, fans are going wild with theories. Fans are thinking of Judge Doom and Yokai. The video shows barrels one marked turpentine with shoelaces hanging from the green goo inside. This references when Doom kills a cartoon shoe in Who Framed Roger Rabbit (1988). Additionally, Yokai is hinted at the barrels with the logo of San Fransoyoko Square opening at the end of this month.
