EPCOT’s Newest Restaurant Reveals an ENTICING Menu

Disney is deeming EPCOT’s newest restaurant a “soon-to-be new favorite foodie spot”! Check out the enticing menu below for the incoming Connections Café and Eatery.

We will soon welcome this new EPCOT quick-service restaurant in the World Celebration neighborhood portion of the Disney Park. To be located near Creations Shop and Club Cool, Connections Café and Eatery will reside in the same area the once Future World Electric Umbrella restaurant called home.

We’ve already seen insight from a Disney Imagineer into the unique flooring (Walt’s art!) coming to the restaurant. Now, we’re seeing Disney tackle this menu with a delicious lineup that has us eagerly awaiting the restaurant’s opening in Spring 2022.

The restaurant will be a two-part space with the Connections Eatery being a new fast-casual quick-service restaurant option while the Café portion is a Starbucks location for Guests to enjoy.

Disney has said the Connections Eatery will take “inspiration from the delicious cuisines from across the globe. As part of World Celebration, where we embrace coming together and enjoying the magic of possibility, the purpose of Connections Eatery is to show us how food has the power to bring us together if we open our minds (and our stomachs)! Once inside, you can get a glimpse of the chefs in action as you watch desserts get their finishing touches and witness pizza makers work their magic crafting pizza dough.”

Ready for a glimpse at the menu? Let’s first talk sandwich selections at Connections Eatery which will be a strong contender! Sandwich options available range from the French Bistro Burger with caramelized onions, bacon, and brie; the Southwestern Burger featuring a roasted chipotle-corn salsa and guacamole spread; to the Vietnamese-inspired Banh Mi Burger or the Greek-inspired Mediterranean Burger.

Not in a sandwich mood? No worries! Dine on the lighter side with salads inspired by French and Chinese cuisines. Dive in fork first with the Niçoise-style Salad packed with potatoes, white and green beans, and olives drizzled with a delicious Dijon vinaigrette. For an Asian flare, try the General Tso Chicken Salad featuring ingredients like broccoli slaw, red bell pepper, mandarin oranges, and crispy wontons.

Sandwiches – check. Salads – check. Let’s talk PIZZA! Watch out EPCOT’s Via Napoli as a new pizza bite is moving in. From the classic Meatball Pizza to the Curry Spice Pizza topped with carrots, potato, peas, and lime “yogurt” for a yummy plant-based twist on the classic pizza… you can’t go wrong with these pizza options.

Of course, if you have your little ones in tow you’ll want to fill them up with some delicious options such as the Grilled Chicken Bao or classics like the Chicken Nuggets Basket or Cheeseburger.

And while the main dishes sound excellent, we can’t help but drool over the enticing dessert variety. That’s right, pictured below is what is called the Liege Waffle. This treat is made with brioche yeast dough stuffed with pearl sugar and finished with some tasty toppings. YES, please!

Calling all milkshake fans! Connections Eatery is where it’s at with two shake options including a Mango-Coconut Milk Shake topped off with a pomegranate molasses drizzle for a nice, refreshing beverage. For a more dessert feel, the Apple Pie Gelato Shake will give you that sweet fix you crave. Just check out the images below!

Looking for a refreshing alcohol-free beverage? Sip on the Watermelon-Mint Agua Fresca.

For those over 21, there are multiple wines and draft beers available, along with the Cucumber and Thai Basil Cooler, a specialty cocktail filled with freshness and flavor.

The Connections Café will be just like other Starbucks locations inside the Walt Disney World Resort Parks. Starbucks will be designed to fit the theme of its surroundings and add yet another exciting chapter in the EPCOT Transformation.

Disney has yet to release an official opening date outside of “Spring 2022”. We are however keeping our fingers crossed that we have a chance to dine at Connections Café and Eatery soon enough or at least well before Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind opens in World Discovery this summer!
