From Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, and EPCOT, fans are always keeping up to date on the newest attractions coming to Walt Disney World.
For example, you probably know that TRON Lightcycle Run will soon debut in Magic Kingdom, and the Walt Disney World Railroad will be up and running again soon. But Magic Kingdom isn’t the only Disney Park awaiting new attractions: Over in EPCOT, Walt Disney Imagineering has been working hard to bring Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana, to life.

Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana, is a self-guided outdoor trail giving Guests a chance to “play and interact with water as it travels from the sky to the oceans and back again,” according to the official Walt Disney World website. “Along the way, learn about the importance of water and discover its playful personality-just as Moana did on her heroic voyage.”

Over Thanksgiving, Walt Disney Imagineering shared exciting progress photos of the upcoming attraction, showing intricate details and references to Disney films Moana (2016) and Finding Nemo (2003). Now, another exciting update has been noticed by Guests: Te Fiti can now be seen at the future attraction’s site!

Theme park reporter Scott Gustin shared a Tweet announcing this exciting new development and progress on the upcoming attraction. Fans of the film Moana will recognize Te Fiti as the life-creating goddess who swiftly turns into Te Kā, a fiery demon, when her heart is stolen by the demi-god, Maui. After Moana restores the heart, Te Fiti returns to her forgiving, life-giving self.
