Famous Hollywood Actor Makes Cameo in EPCOT

We all love when we get to see our favorite actors or actresses featured in cameos on Disney Park rides and attractions.

One of our favorites is Patrick Warburton’s appearance on EPCOT’s Soarin’ Around the World. Don’t we all love to mimic Flight Attendant Patrick’s “Nice work, pal” with his classic thumbs up? You can always expect at least one Guest to ask Aerosmith for Guest passes to the next concert on Rock n’ Roller Coaster in Disney’s Hollywood Studios. And who can forget Phylicia Rashad’s unforgettable performance as Dr. Helen Marsh in Disney’s Animal Kingdom’s Dinosaur?

We can now add another Hollywood favorite to the list of awesome cameos on Disney Park attractions. As we march a little closer to the launch for the new Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, we keep hearing little bits of new information from people who have been lucky enough to get a preview. We now have some new information about a previously unknown actor who plays a part in the highly anticipated attraction set to debut on May 27, 2022.

Disney Parks recently tweeted out that Terry Crews will be playing the role of “Centurion Tal Marik, who is the commander of the Starcharter and close advisor to Nova Prime.” Crews’ character, Centurion Tal Marik, will “call on the Guardians” because it’s “Save the Galaxy Time…again!”

So far, this is all the information Disney has released about Terry Crews’ involvement in the eagerly awaited attraction.  However, this won’t be Terry Crews’ first time entering the Marvel Universe.

Crews previously played Jesse Aaronson/Bedlam, in the Deadpool sequel. Mr. Crews has a tremendous Hollywood resume. Most notably Terry Crews is known for his roles on Brooklyn Nine-Nine as Lieutenant Terry Jeffords and as the host of NBC’s America’s Got Talent, amongst others.

Especially with the Annual Passholder, Disney Vacation Club Members, and Cast Members getting their previews.
