They’re the icing on the cake during a Disney theme park day.

Walt Disney World’s fireworks are an eagerly-awaited part of Disney Guests’ vacations, with the Cinderella Castle show being one of the most photographed things at the Central Florida Resort.

The beloved Happily Ever After has recently replaced Disney Enchantment at Magic Kingdom, Walt Disney World’s 50th-anniversary show, while over at EPCOT, Harmonious has switched out for the returning EPCOT Forever.

These nighttime spectaculars come with music, magic, and crowds, but there’s one new fireworks hack that you’re definitely going to want to try for extra special fireworks viewing.

“This is the best Disney hack that you will not hear anybody talking about.”

Disney World Guest Sarah (@unitedkingdomofdisney) opens her TikTok video with a bold statement. According to her, this is a “never-before-seen” fireworks tip that even we haven’t seen discussed.

Across the Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Disney’s Animal Kingdom, Disneyland, and Disney’s California Adventure theme parks, Guests are always on the lookout for tips and tricks to help make their Disney Park day even better.

With prices rising, technology getting more puzzling (we’re looking at you, Disney Genie), and crowds getting larger, a Walt Disney World Resort visit can often be hard to navigate.

We’re all looking for Disney Park strategies, and TikTok user Sarah has a little Disney secret that she argues is never talked about.

The Big Disney Fireworks Tip

Her big Disney fireworks tip involves the Disney Skyliner, the latest transportation system to be added to the Walt Disney World Resort that gives Guests easier access to Disney’s Hollywood Studios and EPCOT theme parks from various Disney Resort hotels.

The aerial gondola provides a new perspective of the Lake Buena Vista Resort, with each themed chairlift featuring magical Disney touches and iconic characters from Disney Park attractions and movies. And it’s this different perspective that gives this big fireworks tip its magic.

“Trust me,” she begins, “You’re going to go to [Disney’s] Caribbean Beach [Resort] and wait at the Skyliner station. There’s a Joffrey’s cart; get yourself a coffee. You’re gonna do this at around the same time that the EPCOT fireworks are due to start. Give it five minutes; get on a Skyliner towards EPCOT.”

She adds that this trick gives Guests the “absolute vibe of watching [the fireworks] from a Skyliner.” You can watch her full video below:

I’ve never seen anybody talk about this, and the Skyliner is usually EMPTY at this time, making it even more special. Keep it to yourself 😉

Disney’s newest mode of transportation debuted at Walt Disney World in September 2019. Disney World Guests can board Disney’s Skyliner — a complementary mode of transport — and soar past one-of-a-kind views of waterways, conservation land, and two Walt Disney World theme parks — Disney’s Hollywood Studios and EPCOT.

The new Skyliner transposition is in constant motion, which means Guests arrive at their destination within minutes. Though the Disney Skyliner has faced its fair share of mishaps and breakdowns, we can’t wait to try this fireworks tidbit the next time we visit the Walt Disney World Resort in Central Florida.

EPCOT Forever

EPCOT Forever is a fireworks show over the World Showcase Lagoon that celebrates the Disney Park’s 40-year history. Featuring fireworks, lasers, music, and special effects, the EPCOT fireworks show replaced the 50th-anniversary show, Harmonious.

The original EPCOT Forever premiered back on October 1, 2019, serving as an interim replacement for IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth until Harmonious premiered in October 2021.

Its music celebrates the Park’s classic attractions, such as Horizons, Journey Into Imagination, Spaceship Earth, Soarin’, Tapestry of Nations, and Universe of Energy. The show highlights the past, present, and future of EPCOT.

The show closed on March 16, 2020, due to the COVID-19 pandemic but reopened on June 29, 2021, alongside the return of the Happily Ever After fireworks in Magic Kingdom. Beginning April 3, 2023, EPCOT Forever returned as part of the Disney 100 Years of Wonder celebration.

The Walt Disney Company is celebrating Disney’s 100 Years of Wonder, with new fireworks, surprises, and even Walt Disney himself coming back to life. It has been a whole 100 years since Walt and Roy Disney created the storytelling giant back in 1923, and the Walt Disney World Resort, Disneyland Paris, and other international Disney Parks are all part of the global celebration.

The heart of the 100th-anniversary takes place at Disneyland Resort in California. Two new nighttime spectaculars also made their debut: Wonderous Journeys fireworks at Disneyland Park and World of Color — One in Disney California Adventure, both of which commemorate the ways in which decades of Disney storytelling have contributed to our culture. As part of the 100-year celebration, the Walt Disney Company has also created two exciting exhibitions that will tour the world.

So, next time you’re in Walt Disney World, remember to head to the Skyliner to catch a beautiful, alternative view of the EPCOT fireworks!
