Disney Parks Blog announced the VIP Disney Escape experience today, sharing details about the magical journey Guests will take through the beautiful Southern California landscape, beginning with two nights in Hollywood, the “show business capital of the world” where Walt arrived in the 1920s with nothing but a suitcase and a dream.
In fact, for two nights, an Adventure Guide from the Adventures by Disney touring company will lead Guests through famous Los Angeles landmarks featured in the Walt Disney Studios story, including a stop at the TCL Chinese Theatre, lunch at Walt’s beloved Tam O’Shanter, a 1922 Scottish steakhouse where Disney had his own personal table, and behind the scenes tours of the Jim Henson Company, The Walt Disney Studios, and even the Walt Disney Archives!

Moreover, Disney fans will live like Walt for a day as they tour the Walt Disney Company’s worldwide headquarters to celebrate their favorite Disney Legend, explore the custom-built Animation Building, witness original props and artifacts, and even enjoy a meal at the Studio Commissary. Then, to continue their exploration into “the rich history of the Company,” Adventures by Disney participants will head down to Anaheim for a luxury stay at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa.
