If you’re a fan of all things Figment, you’re going to love this! At the 2022 D23 Expo, Disney announced Figment will soon be returning for a meet and greet experience at Walt Disney World’s EPCOT. Now, the Orlando International Airport is sharing its excitement about the news!
That’s right, the purple dragon that seemingly has a Disney cult-like following is making a comeback to EPCOT in 2023. While Disney has yet to reveal when exactly in 2023, we suspect he may be returning in conjunction with the EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival, but that has yet to be confirmed.

The small but mischievous dragon is the star of the EPCOT attraction, Journey Into Imagination With Figment, where he shares with Park Guests that imagination is out there and can be found using all your senses.
Orlando International Airport (@MCO) heard the news of Figment’s meet and greet returning, and took to social media to share, “We’ve heard that Figment’s meet & greet will return to EPCOT next year and we just wanted to let you know that our rainbow tunnel is no figment of your imagination either.”

Not only can Guests experience Figment at his EPCOT ride in the Imagination Pavilion, but there is also a plethora of Figment merchandise throughout the EPCOT Park as well as available on shopDisney.

Even though we have to wait until 2023, new Figment merchandise is typically released with EPCOT Festivals, which would make his meet and greet arrival perfect for spring with the Flower and Garden Festival.
