We were all glad to see the Walt Disney World Tram Service return to the Magic Kingdom back in December 2021, even if the beloved service remains suspended at the other three Disney World theme parks.
The Monorail, Disney Skyliner, Disney bus service, and ferryboats all transport Walt Disney World Resort Guests across the Lake Buena Resort, but the parking tram have always been considered Guests’ “first ride of the day.”
As we all know, one is better than none, and after two years without the parking trams, it was nice to see things getting back to normal.
Now, however, due to some unfortunate and unexpectedly-needed repairs, the world-famous Walt Disney World tram service is operating with a modified service.
The parking lot tram service to the Heroes Side of the Magic Kingdom parking lot at the Transportation and Ticket Center (TTC) has currently been modified. Due to the work being done, Disney Park Guests will be picked up and dropped off at the front of the Aladdin Parking Lot.
The parkling lot tram service to the Villains Side has been temporarily suspended at the TTC.
At the time of this reporting, Walt Disney World has not announced when we can expect the tram service at the Magic Kingdom to return to normal.
As for the tram service at the other Walt Disney World Parks, Disney has said it will return at some time in 2022. So, if you are planning on driving to the most magical place on earth, you should plan on setting some time aside for walking to and from your vehicle
As for the tram service at the other Walt Disney World Parks, Disney has said it will return at some time in 2022.
Resort Guests can use other forms of transportation from their Disney Resort Hotels to get to EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom theme parks without the need to use a car.
So, if you are planning on driving to the “Most Magical Place on Earth”, you should plan on setting some time aside for walking to and from your vehicle.
It’s times like these where we all wish we had Aladdin’s magic carpet, but hey, at least now we can get our steps in.
