Which Disney Gift Would You Choose?

As we head into the holiday week, we thought it would be fun to think about Disney gifts and which ones we would want under the tree.

Take a look at some of our gift ideas and see which ones you would choose for yourself or your family on your next Walt Disney World vacation.

Park Hopper

One upgrade that we would love to see under the tree is the Park Hopper option.

Park Hoppers can be added to tickets and allow Guests to hop between the four Theme Parks.

After 2:00 P.M, Guests with Park Hopper can choose to travel to another Park for the evening.  If you can make a strong touring plan, this is a great way to visit a few Parks in one day.

The cost isn’t cheap, though:

$65 per ticket for 1-day tickets

$75 per ticket for 2 to 3-day tickets

$85 per ticket for 4 to 10-day tickets

If we found this under our tree, it would be greatly appreciated!

Free Disney Genie+ and Individual Lightning Lanes

Walt Disney World added Disney Genie featuring both Disney Genie+ and Individual Lightning Lanes in October.

These features allow Guests to bypass the standby lines by either using Genie+ or the Individual Lightning lanes.

Disney Genie+ is an additional $15/day/person and includes access to over 40 Lightning Lanes across the four Parks.

The Individual Lightning Lanes include the most popular rides in each of the four Theme Parks and can be purchased al-a-carte.

We would love the ability to bypass the standby lines during our Walt Disney World vacation and would love to find access to both Disney Genie+ and Individual Lightning Lanes wrapped up under our Christmas tree.

Upgraded Resort

We are big believers in booking the Walt Disney World Resort and room that you will be happy with. Don’t go in believing that you will get upgraded.

However, if we are making a list of Walt Disney World gifts, an upgraded Resort would be high on our list.

We have stayed at a variety of Walt Disney World Resorts ranging from Disney’s Pop Century to Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, and we find them all magical and fantastic in their own way.

Each Resort provides free transportation to and from the four Theme Parks, as well as fun themed pools and dining options; however, if we could, we would love to be upgraded to one of the Deluxe Resorts.

We love how close the Deluxe Resorts are to the Theme Parks, making it easy to come and go during the day.  The pools and dining options at the Deluxe Resorts also offer more.

Because of these reasons, we would love to find a Resort upgrade under our Christmas tree this year.

A Fireworks Experience

We were happy when nighttime shows returned to the Theme Parks!  It has been exciting to see the two new nighttime shows in EPCOT and Magic Kingdom.

Because these two shows are so new, we would love for a way to see them without having to fight the crowds.

A gift that would be great to find under the Christmas tree would be a fireworks experience.

In Magic Kingdom, Guests can choose from three different dessert party options. For each of these parties, Guests get both a reserved area for watching Disney Enchantment as well as the opportunity to enjoy a variety of desserts and drinks either before or after the show.

Guests can also experience Disney Enchantment in a unique way by booking Celebration at the Top: 50th Flavors & Fireworks at Disney’s Contemporary Resort. Here you can enjoy small plates before watching the fireworks high up on the observation deck reserved just for those special Guests.

If Guests are looking for a special experience for EPCOT’s Harmonious, they can book a dining package at either Spice Road Table or Rose & Crown.  By doing so, they receive special viewing of the nighttime show.

Finally, we would love to have a specialty cruise wrapped up under the Christmas tree this year.

Guests can watch either Disney Enchantment or Harmonious right from the water, bringing a unique and special wow factor to the experience.

These cruises include a captain, snacks, and soft drinks for up to ten Guests.

We would love the opportunity to experience these amazing, new fireworks in a special way!

Tours

Walt Disney World provides some fantastic tours for Guests to experience, and even though they aren’t all back yet, we are thrilled that some are returning.  We’re so thrilled that we would be happy to find one under our tree.

Up Close with Rhinos will be returning in 2022, giving Guests a 60-minute guided adventure through the rhino’s backstage area.

Wild Africa Trek is also returning to Disney’s Animal Kingdom, which combines action, adventure, and education in a three-hour adventure.

Also in Disney’s Animal Kingdom is Caring for Giants.  This will look at African elephants on a 60-minute tour.

Over in Magic Kingdom, Disney’s Keys to the Kingdom will start once again in 2022.  This is a five-hour walking tour that provides Guests access to the underground tunnels of Magic Kingdom.

Walt Disney World tours offer a chance to see the Parks in a different way, and we would love to have one under our Christmas tree this holiday season.

These are just a few of the Walt Disney World gifts we would love to see under our Christmas tree this holiday season.  Which one would you want to have?

About Jennifer Retzlaff

My name is Jennifer Retzlaff and I became a lifelong Disney fan during my first trip to Walt Disney World in 6th grade. From that moment, Disney became a big part of my life. I live in Iowa with my husband and two kids who are growing up too quickly for my liking. I started introducing my love for Disney early to my family with a Disney honeymoon and then trips when our youngest of 18 months. Since then, our family has been to Walt Disney World over five times and we continue to plan and dream for the next trip. I love the magic that Disney brings to people through the theme parks, cruises, adventures and movies they create. As a teacher, I try to bring that magic into my classroom to help kids believe that “If You Can Dream It, You Can Do It.” I recently reached a dream of mine as I joined Magic Vacation Planner as a personal travel advisor. With this team, I can now help others plan magical vacations. As a passionate writer, I also have my own blog at magicalvacationsbyjen which is also where you can follow me on instagram for trip reviews along with tips and tricks for your next magical vacation.
