Here are 6 restaurants we LOVE at Disney’s Magic Kingdom park:

6. Skipper Canteen
This restaurant is the newest casual dining restaurant at the Magic Kingdom, nestled in Adventureland. The skippers from the Jungle Cruise are picking up extra shifts to help make extra money, and the guests get to benefit! The skippers are in character and help to perfectly execute this fun and nostalgic theme. This isn’t your typical theme park food though. At this location you have options like steak, lamb chops, grilled chicken, soups, salads, etc. This is a real culinary experience that you don’t need a reservation for! What’s not to love?
Located in Liberty Square, this quick-service location is a great stop when you need a quick meal and a break. The menu items include various seafood options (which is no surprise based on the strong nautical theme), along with soups, salads, etc. You have the option of seating as there is downstairs seating and upstairs seating. If you happen to sit upstairs, you get amazing views of the Haunted Mansion while you dine. This is one of the only quick service locations to also have its own bathrooms right there in the restaurant, so that helps to make it a very quick stop so you can get back to the rides and other fun.
4. Liberty Tree Tavern
Also nestled in Liberty Square sits this gem of a restaurant. This table-service restaurant offers sandwiches, burgers, wraps and various other options during the lunch service. During the dinner service you are seated and treated to a table full of a traditional turkey dinner with all of the fixin’s served family-style to everyone at the table. The food is delicious and perfectly ties in with the strong Americana and Colonial theme of the restaurant. This makes this restaurant a top pick for many holidays and events, so you will want to make sure you snag your reservations early. The dining room is impressive, the food is delicious and the ambiance sets the tone for the perfect evening!
3. The Crystal Palace
Who wouldn’t love to dine with Winnie the Pooh and his friends? Well at this location right off of Main Street, you have the opportunity to do just that for breakfast, lunch or dinner. The menu differs at each service, and we have enjoyed every visit we have had. The meal is buffet style, so you definitely want to come hungry and save room to try everything. While you dine, Winnie the Pooh, Tigger, Piglet and Eeyore make their way from table to table to take pictures, sign autographs and interact with you and your family. The dining room really is a crystal palace, and is absolutely stunning. I can’t help but appreciate all of the beautiful windows and details every time that we dine there.
2. Cinderella’s Royal Table
This restaurant is one of the most popular restaurants on property. Reservations can be difficult to get, so you have to plan ahead and snag them right at the 180 day mark, but it is well worth it. You get the opportunity to enjoy a meal with Cinderella and many of her friends and other princesses for breakfast, lunch or dinner. The price for the meal includes a gift for each child, a commemorative family photo and gratuity, along with your delicious meal. The restaurant is inspired by French cuisine and varies at each service. The princesses interact with guests at their tables, and it becomes a really fun experience for the entire family. One of the best parts, it is actually located in Cinderella Castle on one of the upper floors. You get to actually dine inside the castle and enjoy views around the Magic Kingdom while you dine. There are extra special proposal, birthday, anniversary and other packages that can be purchased, since this is an extremely popular restaurant for a celebration. This is definitely one to add to the list if you have never been!

1. Be Our Guest
This is still one of the most difficult reservations to get among all of the Walt Disney World restaurants. This restaurant has stayed extremely popular since it opened. Be Our Guest does serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. Lunch is served in a quick-service style, but you can actually place your order online before you get there, so that all you have to do is check in and they will bring your food to your table. Dinner is the most desired service to get since the Beast himself greets guests during dinner. He is announced grandly throughout the restaurant and makes his way to his study where guests can go and visit with him whenever they feel like during or after their meal. The food is French-inspired and completely delicious. You will find many authentic French dishes on the menu, along with the highly regarded “Grey Stuff”. It’s delicious! If you don’t believe me, you can ask the dishes! As far as the theme and atmosphere of the restaurant, Disney got everything about this one right. The main dining room is set in the ballroom of the castle. You have the perfect murals on the ceiling, the snow falling outside the windows and the iconic chandelier. It is right out of the movie, and oh so perfect! Now you know why it’s still so hard to get a reservation!
