Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser has ‘Hans’ down been the new hot ticket at the Walt Disney World Resort.

Since its launch on March 1, 2022, the new Disney Resort Hotel has been met with mixed reviews. The two-night adventure is priced at around $6,000 for a family of four, and includes 2 nights’ accommodation, 4 meals and refreshments aboard the Starcruiser, 1 quick-service meal at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, interactive and immersive entertainment, as well as admission to Disney’s Hollywood Studios for a Galaxy’s Edge excursion.

Now, Disney has revealed a new makeover experience on the Galactic Starcruiser that will have any Guests who’ve been jealous of those at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique very excited!

The eagerly-awaited Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser hotel takes Guests on a (simulated) two-night voyage through a galaxy far, far away. While aboard the Galactic Starcruiser, Guests are fully immersed in the Star Wars story, as each decision they make shapes the outcome of their journey.

Popular characters like Chewbacca, Rey, and Kylo Ren can be found onboard. Guests also take a port excursion to Batuu’s Black Spire Outpost in Disney’s Hollywood Studios at Galaxy’s Edge.

Disney had previously offered four popular “Add-On Activities” that are not included in the cost of the Star Wars hotel vacation package — dining at Oga’s Cantina, building a lightsaber at Savi’s Handbuilt Lightsabers, constructing an Astromech droid at the Droid Depot, and booking a seat at the Captain’s Table onboard the ship.

Now, another add-on has been revealed, one that gives Guests young and old a chance to get their own galactic-inspired makeover.

The latest immersive Star Wars experience, “Image Design”, offers Guests the chance to have their own Star Wars makeover with Starcruiser and Batuu-approved options. Image Design facepainting take place in Guests’ cabins aboard the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser, with choices for every Lucasfilm fan traveling to a galaxy far, far away.

“Image Designers” provide Guests with looks inspired by popular alien species from the Star Wars universe, from full face-painted designs to smaller detailed looks for their excursions to Batuu in Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

It should be noted that the face painting experience does not include the costumes shown in Disney’s Image Design photos. Guests are invited to add their own Star Wars-inspired clothing to each look, or they may want to opt to purchase something new from the Chandrila Collection or from shopDisney ahead of their galactic travels. Guests can pick from a selection of headwear like the Togruta Headdress and the Twi’Lek Headdress.

These Galactic Starcruiser Image Design transformations only take about 30 minutes, so Guests don’t need to worry about missing out on the Disney Hotel’s storytelling and immersive atmosphere while getting their makeup done.

To have a makeover onboard the Halcyon, Guests must be seven years of age or older, and an adult 18 or older must be present for those under 18. A Galactic Starcruiser specialist can help you book this add-on at (407) 939-1800 beginning 60 days prior to your trip.

Reservations for Image Design makeovers are limited, so we recommend booking them early, or as soon as you have your initial voyage aboard the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser reserved.

Previously, only younger Guests were treated to makeovers at Walt Disney World at the beloved Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, the magical salon where Fairy Godmother royal makeovers make dreams come true.

Due to health concerns during the pandemic, the Walt Disney World Resort has kept the famous Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique closed until further notice. The makeover experience has three locations at the Walt Disney World Resort: two outside of the Disney theme parks at Disney Springs and at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, and one inside Cinderella Castle at Magic Kingdom Park. The salon can also be found on Disney Cruise Line.

The salon offers a customizable experience where “Fairy Godmothers in Training” give young Guests a magical makeover experience, complete with hairstyling, makeup, costumes, and accessories.

Now, it seems adult Guests can have their own makeover dreams come true, albeit with a galactic twist. Disney’s Galactic Starcruiser website describes the experience below:

Our talented “image designers” are ready to create your out-of-this-world look in the style of fan-favorite alien species so iconic to Star Wars. Choose from a selection of eye-catching, face-painted designs for a look that inspires your unique story aboard the Halcyon starcruiser.
