In this video, a parent shows the Apple Airtag device hidden on the inside of her daughter’s leggings, keeping it out of sight from other Guests. With the level of crowding at Walt Disney World, parents have been more worried than usual about getting separated from their children or worse.
Although using an Apple Airtag to keep track of children and elderly relatives while visiting Walt Disney World is innovative and useful, the audiences reacting to this viral video were mixed, and for good reason.
While using an Apple Airtag can give precise location information, that information can become deadly if it falls into the wrong hands. It wasn’t long ago that a teenager visiting Walt Disney World Resort with her family was tracked from Magic Kingdom all the way back to Tennessee, the family’s home state.

While some families feel that Walt Disney World is safe enough to forgo an Apple Airtag device, others think it’s the best way to keep their children safe.
