April-December Churro

Disney’s Haunted Mansion is one of its most iconic attractions, so it’s no surprise it has inspired films, merchandise, and food. Previously, Disney released a limited-time pre-fix menu at Disney’s Cafe Orleans, located in New Orleans Square in Disneyland Park. Just before the film’s release date, Disney is showcasing a new food item inspired by the attraction and film.

The new flavored churro, the April-December churro, features strawberry, sugar, and icing. The vibrant pinks are displayed before a Haunted Mansion portrait, turning from ordinary to ghostly.

Disney fans took to Instagram to express their excitement for the new treat. Gabe.travers wrote, “Is this churro actually stretching? Or is it your imagination, hmm?” And TheThemeParkDad chimed in writing, “They’re so creative.”

While fans love the introduction of a new treat, those who regularly visit Disney World don’t feel as excited. The snack is released in Disneyland until August 21, with no comment on if they will appear in the Orlando Parks. Disney fan kayla_laymance wrote, “*cries in WDW*” while matt_franklin__ commented, “Why is this not in florida…..”
