This summer, there is a brand new event coming to Walt Disney World, but it’s not for everybody…
EARidescent Evenings are coming to Walt Disney World. This 15-part event will take place from June 7 through August 30 of 2022 and will fire up after dark once the Park closes, so it will not affect Park opening hours. The events will take place across three parks: Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, and Hollywood Studios. These limited capacity events will be an incredible opportunity for special attendees to experience the Park after dark and with far fewer crowds than on a normal day.
But what’s the catch?

This event is exclusively for Cast Members…but there’s still a way you can attend.

We’re thrilled for Disney World Cast Members that they are getting some exclusive recognition and appreciation for the magic they bring us every day, now it’s their turn to experience the magic. However, we are wondering who is going to be operating the rides and running the Park when all the Cast Members are off duty?
Love the sound of this and want to experience the Park After Dark in this exclusive event? Cast Members are permitted to bring a plus one to each event. Now we doubt Disney is trying to encourage you to go make friends with Cast Members now in order to get invited, but if you already have a friend or family member that is employed as a Disney World Cast Member, then you may be in luck!
Disney has previously dealt with negative reviews and press from Disney Cast Members, so it looks like Disney Parks HR is stepping up its game.
