Amid recent political fallout and media backlash, many Guests are wondering if Walt Disney World truly is still the “Most Magical Place on Earth.”

With prices rising, the launch of Disney Genie and Lightning Lane getting mixed reviews, and the reputation of Disney CEO Bob Chapek, the Walt Disney World Resort has been left battling controversy lately.

Now, though, a recent video has captured a magical moment that will make any Disney fan tear up – proving that pixie dust still exists at the Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom theme parks.

Disney Park Guests were thrilled when Disney’s beloved Festival of Fantasy Parade returned to Main Street, U.S.A. in the Magic Kingdom Park on March 9, 2022.

The parade brought its amazing floats, popular Disney characters, and catchy soundtrack back to the Lake Buena Vista Resort, bringing back a sense of normalcy post-pandemic.

And amid the current political turmoil and social media negativity, one Magic Kingdom Cast Member proved this week that the magic still lives at the Walt Disney World Resort. Disney Guest @disneyparkswithlove shared a magical video on TikTok on April 26, showing the Disney Cast Member spreading some pixie dust down Main Street, U.S.A:

The video shows one of the Parade Audience Control Cast Members bringing a young Guest dressed as Belle from Disney’s classic animated movie Beauty and the Beast (1991) to the center of Main Street U.S.A. The audience is heard cheering and clapping as the little girl spins and poses in her Princess Belle costume.

A Disney PhotoPass Photographer is then shown ready to capture images of the young Belle twirling with the Festival of Fantasy parade and Cinderella Castle in the background of the shot. It even looks like the Cast Member tears up at the special moment. We only wish we could see how these magical images turned out!

The front of Disney’s Festival of Fantasy Parade typically stars Princess Belle and the Beast from Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, so this young Disney Park Guest will be in a treat when she sees who was behind her! Recently, however, the iconic Disney characters were replaced by Princess Tiana and Prince Naveen from The Princess and the Frog (2009) due to availability issues.

Disney’s Festival of Fantasy Parade celebrates the studio’s animated stories in a series of magical floats and costumes. Disney Guests can spot their favorite characters, including Disney princesses Cinderella, Belle, Anna and Else from Frozen (2013), Flynn Rider and Rapunzel, Ariel from The Little Mermaid (1989), Peter Pan, Wendy, and Tinker Bell, Merida from Pixar’s Brave (2012), and characters from the classic 1959 movie Sleeping Beauty.

This Sleeping Beauty float is one of the most iconic floats in the parade, with Prince Phillip battling a fiery dragon version of Maleficent. This float stretches 53 feet in length and 26 feet tall!

So, next time you’re at the Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, or Disney’s Animal Kingdom theme parks, remember to look out for those special Cast Member moments. You never know, it could happen to you!
