Journey into Imagination with Figment and Living with the Land are staple EPCOT attractions.
Although neither is as popular as Spaceship Earth or Frozen Ever After, they each hold a special spot at the theme park.

Journey Into Imagination With Figment
As the unofficial mascot of Walt Disney World’s EPCOT, Figment has quite a following. The attraction he hails from has seen multiple revisions through the years, each one decreasing its demand. However, the purple dragon seems to have only grown in popularity through the years.
Since he first debuted in 1983 as the sidekick of The Dreamfinder, he’s been winning over the hearts of Walt Disney World Resort fans for decades. His likeness can be found on multiple park merchandise, snacks, and plush toys. One of the most notorious examples of Figment merchandise was the popcorn bucket that Disney fans waited seven hours to get.
He has recently seen a resurgence, including character meet and greets returning to the park and a new Little Golden Book that will debut in 2024.

Living with the Land
Although Living with the Land may not be a thrill ride, it, too, has a list of die-hard fans. Not as groundbreaking or educational as it was when it opened, it takes guests through gardens and greenhouses, explaining food production for Walt Disney World Resort. It also explores the history and the future of agriculture in today’s world.
Disney also offers a Behind the Seeds tour that takes guests on a backstage walking tour of the Land pavilion, including the ride. The one-hour tour includes visits through the fish farm and four greenhouses featured in the Living with the Land attraction.

Figment Invades The Land
In a recent video posted on X (formerly Twitter), Figment can be seen floating in the boat canal of Living with the Land. Full disclosure: we are talking about a Figment plush animal.
I know we don’t like his ride but cmon guys this is a little much. pic.twitter.com/bXqG68lzD3

Users have commented suggesting that the Figment stuffed animal looks burned. Either way, it’s a curious item to find randomly sitting in the water flume of Living with the Land.

Although Figment plush animals are relatively easy to come by, it’s unusual to find one sitting in any attraction. Perhaps a young one lost their special plush animal, or maybe someone tossed it in the ride as a joke.
But it poses an interesting concept. What if Walt Disney World Resort combined these two attractions into one? Perhaps it could inject some new interest into both rides and free up extra space for EPCOT to build something new…
