The Thing We Didn’t Expect To See At D23

The 2022 Disney D23 Expo is well under way, bringing news, panels, announcements, shopping and so much more to Disney fans around the world. Yesterday brought plenty of movie news, including new trailers, first-look teaser posters, and the announcements of new movies too. Whilst we are yet to hear more about what is coming to the Disney Parks, we now know snippets of information that have certainly gotten us all excited for what will be announced and confirmed tomorrow in A Boundless Future: Disney Parks, Experiences & Products.

Day 2 of D23 begun with Marvel, LucasFilm and 20th Century Studios in the Studio Showcase earlier today. Fans who were attending the Expo in the Anaheim Convention Center, could attend the panel to hear first-hand what is to come for the Marvel Universe and beyond. But there was another experience that was available to Guests of the Expo that we really did NOT expect to see! However, we are a little green-eyed by the sheer awesomeness of this experience too…

Yes you heard correctly! In honour of the release of Thor: Love and Thunder (2022), Guests of the Expo had the opportunity to take part in Goat Yoga, with what appears to be a complimentary, and exclusive, yoga mat and other goodies to take home from their experience. Guests could also have their photo taken with the goats that joined them during the yoga practice.

Whilst The Walt Disney Company offer yoga to Guests during runDisney events, this is the first time that Goat Yoga has been offered at an event organised by the Company. Usually, Guests can experience Sunrise Yoga in front of Cinderella Castle in Magic Kingdom.

What an exciting way to start your morning at D23! We don’t know about you, but we’re now feeling inspired to find a nearby Goat Yoga class, so we can join in the fun!
